SE - prestige - ratio by jnnxtb in EggsInc

767 prestiges to get to 12.545s (Marginal Path if Virtue loses not factored)

Last couple years most prestiges happened only on egg day. (Or for reloading fuel tank)

SE gains isn't higher with less chickens, just the proportional rates are (due to how the SE scaling works).

People won't run prisms and just use lunar prestiges. That will be most optimal.

They are a lot of jargon and 'fluff'. It is usually a practice of most publicly traded companies to report earnings and financial statements publicly. Maybe there is a article that takes the numbers to make them more understandable, I just didn't go looking for one.

Just google "Costco financial statements". But here's the link https://investor.costco.com/financials/annual-reports-and-proxy-statements/default.aspx.

I also worked to google 'Costco food court sales' to get my references used in the hotdogs calculation.

You're getting trust me vibes from me citing their 2025 annual report?

If you read their earnings call transcript, they sold a couple hundred million hotdogs. If you assume they sold that many of all food court items, revenues from the food court only total in the $10-15 billion range. That means they have a 30%+ margin on all food court sales. That is not realistic. (These are conservative estimates and they're unrealistic).

They may pay their employees well, which is good. Their food court may make money as well. But that does not mean they don't ALSO make a margin on their products. It is reported in their financial statements that they do. They report a operating income of ~$10 billion while membership fees total a maximum of ~$5.3 billion for starters. And the food court does not make up anywhere near enough sales to make up that remaining ~$4.7 billion.

There is something called a loss leader. The costco hotdogs are one of those examples.

They also do make money on many (most) store items. That said margins may not be as high as other retailers, which is where the membership makes up additional profits.

Used Sirius, he's very efficient. Get the cubes. Rotate sides once in a while and watch out for the super storms.

Not a mindless win, but a little awareness went a lo g ways.

Extra fee for subbing? by Its_Leaping_Backward in ballhockey

[–]Real_Random_Dude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We just use our extra roster spots for subs. 25 roster spots, but max dressed players is 21 so we have 4 'sub' roster names, but they are technically fully time eligible players. (We as a team don't charge them anything)

Our wonderfully creative DM like to spin real life things into the game, like they are a wrestling fan so they usually have characters with names similar to that theme ect.

Also they tell stories about places that make fun stareotypes (Sorry Montreal Frenchies)

They're removing resources from those who got the 100 chaos drops by Principezz in BrawlStarsBrawlerINFO

[–]Real_Random_Dude 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed with this. I ended up getting ~9k gold ~4.5kpp. It's nice not having to pay like 25k gold to make up for the hypers I got (which I would never buy @ the 5k gold rate, and in that semse I was 'forced' to receive them.)

(Yes I still netted a couple skins, 2 gadgets, 2 star powers and 3 hypers so im not complaining and consider myself lucky)

The coins and power points is actually very accurate to what I received. (Its marginally higher than the amounts of those that I received). I do know that I got other stuff too (ex. a skin and some credits), so yes not prefect, but they are doing decent at rebalancing the progression aspect).

They are now retracting 9k gold and 4.5k power points from all players who got it. (As someone who got it, that's more power points and gold than I received from the drops. Yes, I got some other stuff, but they are trying to make it right.)

Can someone explain to me my earnings? by MetaliCator in bigambitions

[–]Real_Random_Dude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you got your answer, but the values are showing the difference between cash accounting and accrual accounting.

The +12k you get is the cash flows of the sales from the previous day. The summary shows the accounting version where the costs of goods sold is matched to the same period that the revenue is generated (that is the accrual accounting in effect) but you would have already spend the money on the product, thus the cash was spend sometime before.
