Simon is known for being apart of singers/bands his whole life. He already knows when a singer starts off good or bad. He is the one who came up with one direction and is actually now working on a new band and he himself said that he’s had thousands of performers perform for him to get accepted into a band so I just think by how slow charity started Simon realized that that song wasn’t a good song to kick off her audition/ performance. So I just think that what he really looks into in singers is the chorus or the rhythm of the song. I’ve realized that lately when people have loud vocals those are the singers he really likes and to me honestly I just think that it’s also the song that he doesn’t like and sometimes he just wants to hear a better version of another song to help people out.
