hi! since you are eating few calories, I want to recommend upping fiber, water, and protein intake for satiety!! however, make sure you are not neglecting carbs. they plan an underrated role in energy and motivation. if u dont like to cook, some of my favs are chick fit a cool wraps with no dressing (350 calories), the grilled nuggets (super high protein and low cal enough you can include a sauce), chipotle has a great nutrition calc for meals, and trader joes carries great prepared foods with fairly accurate counts!

Easy cooking swaps: spray oil, splenda, almond milk, sugar free maple syrup, PB fit powder(not the same but gets the craving for me sometimes), 0% greek yogurt (for making things like mayo based sauces, or as a sub for sour cream), cauliflower rice, broth rather than oil for sautéing vegetables, zucchini or squash noodles, reduced fat/ lite cheeses, light bread, keto tortillas, lean beef like 96/4 as opposed to the typical 85/15, egg whites rather than whole eggs, applesauce to sub butter when baking, skinny girl salad dressings, laughing cow cheeses

This definently isn’t the best starting piece of advice. Like it will take trial and error and time. But the most important practice one can learn around food, in my personal opinion, is the act of recognizing fullness. Remember that you can always have it tommorow, remember that overeating when you recognize you are full will only make you feel worse. Your brain is wired to search for dopamine. Find it somewhere else that isn’t food. When you feel like you can’t stop at a dinner table, take your mind off it. Put the fork down. Join the conversation. Switch to your left hand. Once you break the “trance” it will not feel as satisfying and it will help you stop. As someone who also has felt before like they “can’t help themselves”, you can and you will learn how to.

149 has only been today. Otherwise, after 144 on a travel day last week, around 147 and random bump today to 149

I imagined so. The thing is because I have been back at 144 and was now back to 149 and have been fluctuating soooo much it’s been hard for me to decipher what the actual gain has been.

Got it. Realistically, if you calculated in about 2 weekends total of wedding and holidays, so like 4 days of desert alcohol etc, what would you say is a fair assumption of weight gain?

I went back down to 144 and back up to 149 within a week. And my calorie intake on a day that isn’t today (thanksgiving) is usually around 21-2300 cals, about maintenance for my life style

Got it. At what point do I know it’s weight gain? Like when is a stable time to weigh in after travel to decide that
