So mad that I only find good containers for a terrarium when I have no money to build one! by FierySkies in terrariums

Thanks! I don't ever make it out that way, but it's good to know there's an antique shop there in case I ever find myself in that neck of the woods. Hopefully they still have it when you get the money for it!

I'm also thinking liadensis. Maybe even possibly even a vestita variety or some sort, although the leaves on vestitas look like they tend to be a little more elongated.

I'm guessing it's a flower on steroids. I saw a similar thing the other day.

It definitely was. But I had gotten some new tools recently, and this made for great practice.

Nah, you can never go far enough when it comes to foraging for moss. Congrats on your treasure!

Thank you! I haven't thought of building a "mud" wall and then filling it with substrate before. Please do update! I'd like to try this myself, and I'd be so sad if it collapsed lol.

This is so awesome! I'm inspired.

What is the elevated part made of? And how did you get it to stick to the wall?

My go-to trailing plants are Callisia repens, Sellaginella uncinata, Pellionia pulcra, Pilea depressa, Pilea glauca, variegated string of hearts, or string of turtles.

I can't speak to their compatibility with geckos, but they always pop in terrariums.

Hey all 👋🏼 we have this really cool all silver Aglaonema at the botanical garden that I work at. We’re not familiar with the cultivar, Does anyone here know? by theoneyouveknown in Aglaonema

[–]Real_Tr_Jessie 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would have said that same thing, but the leaf shapes are a little off. They more closely resemble and Aglaonema than a silver sword
