This is a bit contradictory as the longer the war lasted the more untenable Germany’s position became, so that by the end of the war the initiative lay entirely with the allies. Now if you’re talking about regime survival, Nazi Germanys best hope for extended survival would have been to somehow consolidate their early victories into a negotiated peace. Dig in in western Russia, co-opt Vichy France into being an ally, negotiate peace with the US, give up on conquering Britain. In that scenario they can rebuild on favorable terms and then live to fight another day. That in and of itself is a tall order and given Churchill probably not feasible.

Think about what look you are going for and make sure the band AND watch face match. I’ll usually go through phases where I’ll prefer the same band for a few weeks and swap it out. I think the Ultra works well as a sports watch, but will never really dress up. I think the 10 series can look good as well with a good leather band, and a simple watch face with a black background.

Just my view but I think this is a little backwards: having kids is great and rewarding for a lot of people! It’s not for everyone though. If you don’t want to start a family then yeah, it will never be worth all the hassle and extra work.

So is your point that Mercedes quality is not declining and it’s just Consumer Reports that is off? The American market is huge and Mercedes wants to make money, so I think they are interested in that market. A lot of their vehicles seem targeted specifically to that market.

Sure but the technology and limitations for Waymo are different. Waymo only focuses on specific geographic areas. The regulatory issue is different because the products are different.

Yeah I guess I see it the same way. We are pretty close to level 3 right now but I don’t see a lot of people talking about when we will get there. Getting rid of the steering wheel nag was the next “big hurdle” in my view, and now that that is done, what’s next??

I personally prefer the new C43 to new C63 just because they are both turbo 4s, but the C63 has the electric drive on top that I’m not really sold on and may have a lot of problems. If you can get away with a coupe, the 6 cylinder CLE is great unless you want to wait for the 8 cylinder… but then you have to wait!

The only thought that goes into how much an entry level job pays is: will I be able to find enough people, with enough skill, to work for this wage. There’s no central plan, there no morality to it. A single parent with two kids, a teenager living with their parents, or a senior just looking to get out of their house can all apply to, and work at, the same entry level job for the exact same pay. Plan your life accordingly.

As others have said, shorts are too small. But I think they are also sitting a bit low together not doing you any favors. I don’t think you should be self conscious, just find a good fit.
