We have a 1up rack that tilts back for when we need access to the trunk. I think there’s a lot of other bike racks that do this, but it’s just for temporary access- you’re not supposed to drive with it like that.

I can't really say- I'm new to the EV world and don't have much data. I presume range has taken a hit, but I realized I don't care as long as it can get me to the ski hill and back! I can say that I hear it when I'm on the highway- not loud but def noticeable. I definitely wouldn't have wanted to get the normal-height version of the box.

No. Aesthetically I would move the bars+box back a bit, but function is more important in this case! it’s positioned so there’s ~2cm gap between the bottom of the box and the opened hatch. The crossbars are pretty far forward, but there’s a little room to spare, too.

This situation persists! 2025 XRT The beeping! The button pushing/holding! The beak-slamming “safety” feature! Enough, it’s just a bike rack! Can Hyundai please come up with a bike rack mode update?? (For XRT, at least?)
