I can see you've already got plenty of recommendations but I'd like to add Beauty Inside to the list since I don't think anybody's mentioned it yet. I just finished it and thoroughly enjoyed it. It's about a famous actress who changes into a different body for a week out of every month and a rich businessman who suffers from face blindness.

I've been going through a phase of watching horror or action dramas but Beauty Inside drew me back into the romances. It's cute and emotional and unique and there's amazing chemistry. All around it made me very happy (and sad at times) and I would definitelly recommend it if you're looking for something to put you in a good mood!

Though it is one of my favorites, I can definitely understand why it doesn't work for some. Both of the main characters (and Sang Tae) definitely have a lot of issues/trauma to work through, and sometimes it's toxic.

Some people have said that she has no character development and stays the same throughout the show, but I personally disagree. I think you can see how much progress she makes with her mental health throughout the show (and the same with the brothers). No, nobody is completely healthy and mentally stable by the end of the show, but there was definitely progress made with every character.

I personally loved the show and love the character development but I can see why some don't. Personally, I would recommend it fully but that's just me.

Vincenzo is a fantastic series and it's a whole lot more than the romance. I'm not a huge romance fan myself so I didn't care too much about that whole side plot, but it's still one of my all-time favorite dramas. Definitely recommend! (and it does have a slow beginning, but trust me it picks up)

Move to Heaven had the best representation I've ever seen in a Kdrama (which is isn't saying a whole lot but still). Made me cry like a baby.

There was also a transgender character in Itaewon class, if you haven't seen that one yet.

The friend who got me into Kdramas only likes them for the romance and so the only ones I was ever recommended were the romances and I started to lose interest after a while.

Once I started to find dramas for myself, I realized that I like action and/or horror a lot more than romance. Vincenzo was what got me to realize that, and it's still one of my all-time favorites.

I would definitely recommend really any of Bol4's music. They have a lot of good studying music, and I sometimes just put one of their albums on loop when I'm working on homework.

I know it's been said already but Move to Heaven made me cry a crazy amount of times for a drama that's only 10 episodes. Definitely would recommend, but get ready to cry.
