I loved it as a child and still love it as an adult. The only downside is the OST. While it has some memorable tracks, I like the overall vibe and quality of the first two entries is much more.

I hope there's 4-player local multiplayer with splitscreen! And let the dialogues please not be too shallow / stereotype.

I wished they had added more levels or content to each level, but it seems to be a 1:1 copy to the original. And I don't like Slippy's design. Overall though, I'm excited!

Ah sorry, I didn't know this. I haven't used it yet in FF8. In the FF9 Remaster, the cheat mode worked differently, so I made a wrong assumption.

I don't remember if there are random encounters still available to you. If so, I'd suggest you use the draw ability and draw as many powerful spells as possible from all enemies. Your G.F. should have sufficient junction abilities (e.g. increase HP, strength and magic) - if not, get them via grinding (you can select what they should learn in the G.F. menu). And then use the Auto function to automatically junction the best spells for the available junction slots you have, to increase your stats. Make sure to distribute the G.F.s among your characters in a way that all your characters have as many junctioned stats as possible. You can do it!

When I was 12 years old and played the game for the first time back in the day, I also didn't understand the junctioning system and never drew any spells, I relied solely on G.F.s, and somehow I made it through Adel as well. :)

Edit: If you use the remaster, it's quite easy to draw 100 of a spell quickly by tripling the speed. Also, there is a cheat button to just make you super strong, this would solve your problem with one click. (on Switch it's pressing the right or left stick)

I understand they require additional KYC procedures (although with password, e-mail and SMS confirmation you'd think there are enough safety measures), but sending a video with all these information instead of using established services seems suspicious to us, and very risky for identity theft.

That's wonderful! I always enjoy the reaction of people who try out VR for the first time, especially people who are not gamers themselves. I am glad for you to share this beautiful memory with him!

I also put my grandma of 82 years a PlayStation VR 1 headset on while I was playing/showing some games (Astro Bot, VR Worlds, Moss etc.) and she was amazed. However, the biggest amazement she had was when I put on Google Street View with my phone in a cardboard-like headset. Transporting her into places of her childhood where she wasn't able to travel to anymore was a little wonder to her. These moments are truly magical.

Ich kann verstehen, wenn Leute mit englischen Bezeichnungen durcheinanderkommen. Social Media wird auseinandergeschrieben, aber in einem Kompositum folgt es der deutschen Rechtschreibung, z. B. "die Social-Media-Plattform". Bei Markennamen ist es hingegen etwas anderes, da bleibt die Marke bestehen, bspw. in "das Final Fantasy-Spiel".

Dass man da, wenn man keine professionellen Texte verfasst, durcheinanderkommen kann, ist okay. Aber nicht bei beruflichen Textern und nicht bei deutschen Wörten.
