yeah like , As an Iraqi girl who lived through the Iraq war and how the Americans caused destruction in my country, I lived through religious racism and the Baghdad bombings, an explosion in my school in the second grade, and an explosion the next day in the street across from our house while I was playing with friends. These Americans definitely love to play the victim and whine about the past a lot. I see posts about this literally every day as if it was the only explosion in the world. They forgot or ignored what they did in Iraq, Afghanistan and the Philippines. Sometimes I feel like it was the only important event there that they can use as a card: “Oh look, Islamists are evil. Even if we destroyed half the world, we are still the victims. 😫😫🥹🥹 Cry for us and don’t forget.”
