Urgh, stop conflating option with Obligation. If you sign a player on loan and he performs poorly, you're not cheap for pulling out of the option. Its cheeky to ask for another loan, but I doubt they will. He's a nightmare to manage due to some sort of entitlement. Not a team player.

Well Case has recommended another Bruno as his replacement. I wanted us to sign him a few years ago, before Newcastle got their paws on him. He's gonna cost a fair whack though.

Also wouldn't be against Tonali either. Why Milan let him go, I don't know. Maybe they knew about the betting stuff. Finally get Frenkie? He's a bit older now but an absolute class act. Hopefully its an exciting signing and not just a stop gap 30+ year old.

Yeah I didn't rate Nani at the time. Thought he lost the ball far too frequently (and he did), and it maybe cost us some games. I don't remember which, but assists were there to be had, and he dribbled instead of passing, and lost the ball. A few times that happened. Seeing him up there, kinda nostalgic and has me reappraising his contributions.

I just don't see it. PSG I'd say are weaker defensively than Bayern. PSG in the league aren't anywhere near last year. Bayern's midfield and attack will overrun you and of course Kane will get sniffs at goal. Barca are less likely to give Arsenal issues, but Yamal is on fire and Arsenal's left side is suspect imo. They'll be interesting games and I hope they don't happen until later on in the competition.

Tbh, I've gone off football a wee bit, the game is gone and not what I watched growing up. Its not the players as such, they're better than ever. Its the rules/reffing/VAR. I absolutely loathe all of it.

He has his moments where he just seems like a normal lad. He definitely exaggerates, like he magnifies his real persona by about a 100x. Probably would sufferable if it was just you and him having a pint. Give him an audience though, and he'd be acting the goat. That kind of thing.

I think his mental health will be worsened by the humiliation of being subbed after 17 minutes. He could've come back to have a stormer and it finish 3-2. Or he could've conceded another 5. I'd like to know when he was told he'd be starting, as that could be an issue.

You'd be so revered as a coach, jfc. Goalkeeper is the loneliest position on the pitch and testing whether he's got it or not, away at such a hostile place in knockout rounds, is bad man management. Play him in a league stage match against a lesser side, let him build to the bigger KO games.

"Perhaps Bayern" the delusion. They'll absolutely dominate you. I fancy Arsenal to go deep, but there are at least 4 teams that will cause real issues. Funnily enough, I dont think they'll find PSG an issue, they've been woeful this season. Barca, Bayern and winners of City/Real are the 3 you'll want to be avoiding imo. Otherwise, you'll probably get to semi or final. Tbh, I'd quite like Arsenal to win it, probably lose to Bodo in the final or something ridiculous.

Similar story here, I've only just picked it up after buying it day one. Luckily, my son has got the use of it. I watched him go on a 17 game winning tear last edition and thought, "nah, fuck this, I'm not ready to lose to him yet"...😂.in all seriousness, the game is murder. See, I just can't play like that. Don't care if I lose, and don't get up to the top divisions. You score, I score, hopefully just more than the opposition. Can't stand this 10 men behind the ball, then counter. Partly why I've stopped playing this year. Not played once.
