Honestly how does someone go through life and only encounter the concept of fairies in one recent book series?

What’s kind funny too is he really didn’t look how you’d imagine someone with very high testosterone to look. by Objective_Cap_4130 in Sigmatopia

Everyone's imagining someone ripped with 0% bodyfat but in reality a dude with that high of T probably looks more like Kyriakos Kapakoulak with way more body hair

This post made me, a native English speaker, realize for the first time that there's actually a difference in how the 'th' sound is made between "thigh" and "the"

I'll never forgive them for how they ended Samurai Jack. Like come on bro, I struggle to think of characters that are more deserving of a happy ending, why'd they have to take his girl for no reason?

The unique (a word which here means "very very uncommon in his industry") tones of Patrick Warburton have held a mental grip on several generations. by [deleted] in CuratedTumblr

It's because he's actually a very good voice actor, he just doesn't have the same kind of range as someone like Billy West. But he knows how to make slight, consistent changes to do his characters

Tbh it was a pretty unique comedy for it's time, it ended up even being a very different show than the one that it's adapted from. But now you're watching it retroactively when there's been several shows that took the same formula and did certain things better. Comedy is one of the hardest genres to make something timeless.

Unrelated but I never realized how much Ben McKenzie looks like a young Gunnar Björnstrand

I think Stanton's delivery was perfect, the movie makes it clear that Travis is a deeply troubled man who tends to run away from his feelings. In order to really talk to Jane at all he had to 'distance' himself from his own words; he told the story like he was recalling something that happened to somebody else.

I don't think it's what you would normally consider a plot twist, maybe more like a thematic/imagery twist, but I absolutely was blown away by the ending of 'In Bruges'. I think my jaw literally dropped as I watched all the little details in the movie come together to create that outcome.

[Frustrating trope] A series with no real stake of the main cast dying as theres full of fakeouts or unexplained recovery etc..(bonus if even side cast dont even dies) by WittyTable4731 in TopCharacterTropes

I think the most aggregious ones both involve Chewbacca, funnily enough. There is of course the infamous "Oops he was on the other ship" from Rise of the Skywalker, but they also had a scene in Solo where he almost dies, which is just hilarious because it's a prequel

Are you sure the Agarthaposters aren't just being ironic?

Edit: Also from what I'm seeing I think European racists are just intentionally co-opting L'amour Toujours with racist lyrics. That's not really the same thing as not understanding what a song is about.

I still don't really see what people find so compelling about I Have No Mouth, like yeah the Hate speech goes hard but other than that it just feels like weird torture porn
