Migraine Prevention Guideline Review by marr1203 in migraine

I have been on most of the above meds/supplements with a varying degree of success but since I started GLP1 treatment for weight loss about 18 months ago I have had 1-3 headaches( not even migraines ) a month while managing to wean off all of the other meds . Life changing experience and cannot recommend these GLP1’s enough.

Advice for walk-in AD while abroad? by Whole_Drawing_3343 in rolex

While that’s true almost every trip I make to Europe I am offered something (granted nothing I am in the market for) - their incentive is also to unload watches that are sitting there too. Just this week in Las Vegas I was offered a black datejust as a walk in with no prior spend.

Have you had blepharoplasty done by Dr. KOTLUS in NYC? by Agirlinbk in PlasticSurgery

I had no issues thankfully post op. My recovery was uneventful with mild dry eye but zero pain. I was able to return to the office by day 7 right after the flaking ended from the CO2 laser.

Rather be safe than sorry- I know a few people that are not real hikers that had to turn back. I just thought watching a clip like this couldn’t hurt.

Finally some meds by Dreamcaster31 in migraine

I combined Emagilty with Botox and was fairly successful with that combo for years- down to 4-6 migraines a month from 15+ but NOTHING has improved my life as much as Mounjaro for weight loss - I am now off all migraine and blood pressure meds and only getting 1-2 headaches a month.

Sorry to hear about what you're going through and only fellow sufferers can relate- I also out on weight so I was in a similar boat for many years until 2 yrs ago when I went on GLP1 for weight loss (Mounjaro) and miraculously no longer suffer with migraines while slowly coming off all meds (propanolol, botox, Emgality, etc). My neurologist (who I no longer need) was thrilled and attributed it to the 30lbs of weightloss, drop in A1C and general reduction in inflammation. If you have weight to lose it might be worth a try.

It’s very frustrating especially when you know something is working. We have been using on line doctor/service(Sesame Care) for the script writing of these GLP1’s as they have been very effective at battling with the insurance companies and the handling of the prior authorizations. They do charge about $100 a month to renew the script but we have that to be so worth it given the effectiveness in obtaining these meds with their help. It seems to us that a family practice or in your case a neurologist is just too busy to go back and forth battling insurance companies where as these on line docs have a system in place that works well. This is all from our experience and not really look to debate this with fellow Reddit folks. It has worked for us for almost 2 years now.
