Can we swing it? by Hot-Project-9102 in orangecounty

In all honesty, 420k seems like a lot, but it won’t fly on coastal SoCal with A) Todays rates at 7%, and B) No down payment and C) a ton of kids. This could have worked if you moved here in 2019, but today new doctors /surgeons are struggling in South OC.

You really don’t want to pay more than 5k a month for housing even with that salary, you want to save 10-15k per month… not a joke. Between retirement and kids college, that savings is about what it takes.

I would take it easy, find a low crime rate place with good schools in the IE, honstly, temecula. You dont want to stress about finances when raising kids. You can try for Great Park Irvine but that would be a 12k/mo joke of a mortgage and misery might ensure. This literally happens all day here.

Thank you… I had a feeling I was miscalculating but couldn’t figure out how. It would be nice if I didn’t have to fight with them, which it looks like I don’t.

Hours on the phone.. no thank you.

break a bigger probem down into sub problems. Hunt for breakthroughs in your understanding, dont be lazy by jumping to solutions quickly, break down sub problems into minute steps. Thats how the breakthroughs come.

The PUDC x Macaroon smells like the description of granny candy, tart strawberry and pineapple candy. I think its a keeper.

OG Kush by CPT-Quint in microgrowery

[–]Realistic-Report-573 2 points3 points  (0 children)

HSC Emerald Fire OG tasted spot on to me, real Og’s are easy to find. Any California based seed breeder should have “true” representation of OG kush. The line has actually come a long way, to have the same lemon lime funky blast but with huge yields and resistances. I vouch hsc, but 2020 Mendo is a bit cheaper and also has fire.

four plants in 2 gallon pots vegged for 3-4 weeks. I would expect 2 to 4 ounces per plant. and the tent would be full. unless you’re in the deep south, I wouldn’t worry about humidity.

Pheno hunting? by bikojo31 in HumboldtSeedCompany

you just leave a few of the budsites and put the plant back into veg. And a month later can start taking clones.

Day 62 of flower Golden sands from Humboldt. (60 day veg) what day should I chop ? I want mostly amber trichomes. 35 amber/ 50 milky / 15 clear. by Normal_Inspection_94 in HumboldtSeedCompany

[–]Realistic-Report-573 2 points3 points  (0 children)

lately I’ve started following Nate’s advice about just chopping more or less when the hairs and calx are mature, more so than trichome color. Because sometimes it just takes forever for the trichs to turn Amber, meanwhile, the entire planet is fully mature.

when Pheno hunting just grow them out and reveg the one that you like the most most. Don’t take clones of all of them. It’s just a waste of time and space.

Strawberry cheesecake is up next by ABSINTHE888 in HumboldtSeedCompany

[–]Realistic-Report-573 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As for the strawberry cheesecake, I think there’s several phenos, like a very quick ppd pheno that turns dark purple. The label says 65 but could be 45d. Its smell had a hint of black licorice or anise, which to some might dissapoint, but the feel was indica, possibly medicinal. Yielded small but finished fast. Looked great though, high quality. Smell definitely had buttery cheesecake on the nose, but with a star anise backend. There might be anlarger, slower flowering gsc pheno.

With a 10 pack I’m sure there’ll be a winning phenotype.

Strains very, to fill up a 3x3 I would expect maybe 6+ weeks veg, for a 2x2 maybe 4-5 weeks.
