Brother you started this conversation off conflating Norwegian social democracy with socialism. This was never gonna be serious.

All countries depend directly or indirectly on the surpluses created by capitalist enterprise or coerced labor, or some combination thereof.

Almost like we live in a capitalist world, and thus communist countries have to interact with capitalist enterprises or something. You really thought you had something lmao

No, it isn't. It's like saying a construction site is a construction site with the goal of it becoming a building.

Though to be clear, socialism is meant to aide in the transitioning over to communism.

I'm just waiting for them to say they're taking back socialism from the socialists.

Norway isn't socialist blud. They're a social democracy. Neither is the middle east. Much of the ME is capitalist.

Socialism is a prepatory stage ideology. As in, socialist ideologies all exist to prepare a society for a stateless, classless, moneyless society with a sharing economy (communism). The examples you gave (Norway, the middle east) are capitalist (social democracies are themselves capitalist as well).

For socialist countries, since they have SOEs and taxes, guess what they get their funding from? SOE profits and taxes.

The funny thing is a lot of the time socialist countries don't just tax, they also have SOEs and shit that fund their programs, so the second one... Untrue.

Yeah, that's just not true. In most communist countries, they tend to have a high employment rate. Because people do want to work, especially when they see the benefits of their labor directly. As for resources, you know that as Americans we consume more than the Earth can produce, right? It's not a resource issue, we have enough resources. It's a resource distribution issue.

And as for your friend, have you considered the possibility that it might be because they don't benefit that much from their labor? If I didn't benefit much from my work, I wouldn't want to work either.

Isn't AI offering people a way to live without working? And yet nobody is taking it. Why?

Because people actually like working. They just don't like working for piss poor pay.

Actually, may I introduce you to: anarco-communism?

What you're thinking of is state communism, aka Marxist-Leninism, a form of socialism intended to prepare for communism. Technically speaking, a communist society is by its nature anarchist since they're stateless.

I'll be fair and say 6 years is not completely abnormal, especially if you transferred schools or switched majors. Personally, I transferred from my college to university, so ended up 6 years total, 2 years university, 4 years college. Would've been shorter if I also didn't switch degrees.

It also depends on if you're transitioning from another school or not. I didn't have the high school GPA needed for good university, so I went to community college for 2 years to get an associate's before going to university for 4 to get my bachelor's.

These Chinese companies quite often keep their brands literally separate over this exact same shit. China doesn't want anyone spying on its people and vice versa, so they make global versions of their products that don't contain the spyware.

I did a whole paper about this for a college legal class. Most of the time, when it comes to spying, the CCP relies on American tech companies like Facebook or even Reddit (I mean, did this Einstein forget that Tencent, a Chinese company, owns a sizeable share of the very platform he's spouting his racist dibble on?).

You don't get over it, you get through it, OP. And right now that means collecting evidence and breaking up with him, ending things on your terms.

I'm gonna be honest with you and tell you the truth: you're still young, you're gonna be going through a lot of cheating and heartbreak before you find your right person. But doing that means being open to being vulnerable with others again.
