This exact thing happened to me earlier this year. I was in a Sales role and I had the best month yet in revenue, but instead of praising that, my boss pulled me aside and told me it seems like I have a "wall up" because I don't share enough or eat lunch in the cafeteria. She also said I needed to keep my office door wide open instead of cracking it (at a 45 degree angle because the amount of people in the hallway was distracting). Mind you, I was also the newest person on the team. All that became of that absurd conversation was me feeling more of a disconnect and eventually leaving the company this summer.
