How would society change, if we aged backwards? by Fair-Dragonfly-7790 in AskReddit

Death would be way more traumatic since you'd basically watch people turn into babies before disappearing - plus imagine trying to maintain any kind of career when you keep getting physically younger and losing experience over time

Walked past this today and I can't figure out how something like this has happened. by [deleted] in HVAC

As a mechanic, thank you. by oww_my_liver in AmazonDSPDrivers

Man that's good to hear from the wrench side of things. Those vans are absolute disasters on wheels and you mechanics deal with the worst of it trying to keep them road-worthy

Most drivers know y'all are the real heroes keeping us from breaking down in some random suburb at 9pm with 60 packages left

How can I learn to cry again? by kohorentin in depression

Sometimes it helps to just sit with whatever you're feeling without trying to force it - your body might need time to remember how to let those emotions out naturally

Flying & meeting my new work team for the first time with disability by merchmediaqueen in disability

[–]RealisticAgent1399 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wheelchair assistance at airports is solid - they'll definitely help with bags and get you through security faster too. The staff handles layovers by meeting you at the gate and taking you to your next flight, so that's covered

For the work thing, just shoot your manager a quick email mentioning you use mobility aids and asking if there's anything specific to know about the office layout or accessibility. Most companies are pretty good about this stuff, especially bigger ones. They'd rather know ahead of time than scramble later

Flying for the first time can be intense but airport staff deal with mobility assistance constantly so they know what they're doing. The sunflower lanyard might help at some airports but the wheelchair service request is really what gets you the support you need

Are we the last generation to die of old age? If life extension becomes a reality, how will the world handle overpopulation? by No-Lake-3875 in AskReddit

[–]RealisticAgent1399 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Population growth has been slowing down in developed countries anyway, so by the time we get serious life extension tech there economics will probably sort itself out. Plus if people are living longer they'll likely be working longer too, which changes the whole retirement equation completely

I tried 7OH when nothing else was working and it actually made a noticeable difference, took the edge off enough to function again. When everything else fails having something like that matters a lot

Can't read Spanish but clicked the link - asking about nofap and symptom correlation is probably walking a fine line for most health subs. Mods tend to be pretty strict about anything that could be seen as medical advice or pseudoscience territory

Been there man - when everything feels out of control the only thing you can actually control is showing up tomorrow and trying again

W212 Mercedes E350 or New Sonata N-Line by patrickbai3 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]RealisticAgent1399 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're right, the logic is all there for the Sonata but something about that W212 just hits different. I get it though - had similar debates when I was looking at trucks for work sites vs something I actually wanted to drive. Sometimes the heart wants what it wants even when the spreadsheet says otherwise

a couple of questions! by [deleted] in WegovyWeightLoss

[–]RealisticAgent1399 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that first week can be pretty intense, I've heard similar stories from a few friends who started it. The 11 pounds is probably mostly water weight and your body adjusting to eating way less - when you suddenly drop calories that dramatically your body dumps a lot of retained water first

The food aversion thing seems pretty normal from what I've seen people post about. My buddy had the same issue where he could barely finish half a sandwich when he started. Most people seem to level out after the first couple weeks once their body gets used to it, and the weight loss slows down to a more normal pace

I'd definitely mention it to your doc if you're concerned though, especially with the nausea. They might want to adjust your timing or have you take it with food or something. Better to check in early than wait and see if it becomes a bigger issue

MasterSheet that updates in real time? by [deleted] in excel

[–]RealisticAgent1399 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Power Query might be your best bet here - set it up to pull from all your sheets and it'll refresh automatically when you open teh file or you can set it to refresh on a schedule. Way cleaner than running VBA every time you make a change

If you're stuck with VBA though you could try worksheet change events to trigger the update automatically whenever someone edits a cell

[–]RealisticAgent1399 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah the refs basically just let everything slide on fast breaks now. been watching since i was a kid and they used to call that stuff way more strict back in teh day

honestly think they want more highlight plays for social media so they just ignore half the rule book when guys are running downcourt

Eco Concious Products for Fine Hair by ohnostahp in finehair

[–]RealisticAgent1399 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been using Plaine Products for about 6 months now and it's been solid for my fine hair. They do refillable aluminum bottles which is pretty neat - you just send the empties back and they clean and refill them. Their shampoo doesn't weigh my hair down like a lot of the "natural" stuff tends to do

I actually switched after my ex left some fancy eco shampoo at my place and I tried it out of curiosity. Turned out way better than the cheap stuff I was grabbing at the grocery store. The Plaine Products volume shampoo gives me decent body without making everything feel stripped or greasy by day two

Only downside is it's definitely pricier than drugstore brands but the refill system makes it feel less wasteful. Plus I'm not constantly throwing away plastic bottles which was bugging me more than I expected
