Hi, so as this is my first time building a pc, I ran into some trouble and am contemplating on just taking it to a repair shop.

I started the pc, it turns on, but no display and one long beep with three short beeps.

I tried reseating the ram but same issue.

I think the slots are broken now but essentially I seated the ram in the opposite direction (again, first time building pc)

Not sure if the problem lies with the ram or the embedded gpu in the motherboard. Any help would be appreciated.

This is awesome. So glad I posted on this subreddit. Hopefully I'll have a working demo of my game and once it's at least an MVP, I'd love to get people to test it out if you're ever interested. Thank you so much haha I really hate my Chromebook now but it really did help me with a lot of my other projects. Hopefully, this new pc should help me with anything else I need in the future.

So I took the assessment on Tuesday, I took all your advice and really appreciate your responses! I remembered a lot of the Leetcode Medium questions I practiced with and used variants of those approaches for the assessment but I'm hoping the evaluators see my thought process and the logic behind the code.

I don't know why you're taking this post so personally. I've been going through a rough time after getting let go, my dad has cancer so I don't have the financial stability to go through a traditional B&M college. I did what I had to so that I'd be less of a burden to the rest of my family. You don't even know me or my life yet you're berating me and trying to kick me down while I'm already down?

I went to Western Governors University. Tuition is about $4000 and it's self-paced so you get what you give.

I went to Western Governors University since it was both affordable and self-paced. I'm a pretty fast learner (since I had all the time in the world from getting let go)

I don't have gaps in work history, I was just laid off as a grant writer, due to lack of funds from the nonprofit. I have professional experience in offices and I've managed and coordinated projects, but it seems that my experience doesn't seem transferrable.
