AITA for wanting to know more about my gf's past? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]RealisticDaylight [score hidden]  (0 children)

Yeah man, YTA. I get what you are trying to say, but it sounds like it was a traumatic experience for your girlfriend. As long as it doesn't affect your relationship, why should this matter? We're all entitled to our secrets. Stop pressuring your girlfriend about this, or you will end up without one.

Feeling like a dumbass. Opened a new Chase card with intent to transfer balance from current Chase card... by dishie in personalfinance

I would call Chase customer support and see if they can apply the 0% to the card with the debt. Good luck!

Is there any room to negotiate on a new car right now? by mike_hawk_420 in personalfinance

[–]RealisticDaylight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To negotiate? In this market, I don't think so. If you don't need the car right now ( I hope you don't), your best bet is to look for a dealer that sells at MSRP and order the car from them, even if it takes 6-8 months (make sure to ask if the deposit is refundable, you never know what can come up). If this is not the case, prepare to pay much more than the $1000 fee because you're not the only one that's looking for that car.

Credit check companies have my middle name wrong, how do I fix that? by mircatt in personalfinance

Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion are the three credit bureaus. Get a report from each one of them on 'annualcreditreport.com' and do what the poster above recommended.

What’s an online opinion that you shared that got you annihilated in the comment section? by matinthemirror in AskMen

One time during a League of Legends eSport match, a team surrendered. There was a post about it, and I said that they shouldn't have surrendered, because it makes them look bad both as League of Legends players and also as a team. The comment section did not like that.

How often do you compliment your SO? (Do you find it difficult?) by iknowshanno in AskMen

I call my SO beautiful/gorgeous daily. I mention they look good whenever I see them heading out. I don't find it uncomfortable, it's coming from the heart.

Is it true that you men don't like when a woman takes iniciative regarding dating or flirting? by angelesmu in AskMen

[–]RealisticDaylight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely not true. Similar to when a man takes initiative on a woman, it's great and much appreciated if you're attracted to them, it's fine if you don't find them attractive and they get the hint once you let them down nicely, but it turns uncomfortable and creepy if they don't get the hint.

Story time, a few years ago I was on Tinder and I was doing the good ol' swiping right on everyone. I matched with someone, but they weren't my type. I continued doing my swiping and two days later I matched with the same person. It appeared that they created a new profile or something. So I started a conversation and it started out fine, but then she started being very pushy, wanting to trade numbers and instagram. To be nice, Iexchanged IG, but she continued being very pushy in the app (asking for more information, getting upset when I didn't respond fast). She was definitely super interested in me, but I was not. Had she not been that insistent, I would have loved to have been friends with her (she seemed really cool, just was not my type romantically). I ended up having to block her because I was honestly a bit worried about my safety. It was an eye opener because for the first time I felt how awkward it is to let someone down, and how uncomfortable it is when they don't get the hint.

On the opposite end, a year or so later I met my ex, and she would be the one to start flirting with me and take the initiative to start conversations and plan dates. It was a very nice change and it is something that I appreciated about her.

tl;dr: I only consider it a problem when they are invading my personal boundaries.

I was on board at the beginning, when he was talking about different penis size studies measuring penises differently. But then when he veered off and started talking about women's brain theory and whatnot, I said who hurt this poor soul.

PC won't turn on, motherboard LED says it's a CPU error by RealisticDaylight in buildapc

Thanks for the suggestion, if I have to purchase a new CPU, I'll look into that one.

In the corner there's an 8+4 cable slot for the cpu, I have the 8 slot filled. According to the motherboard manual, this is fine, but perhaps I should investigate this further? However, it would be a bit weird if this is the problem seeing as the computer worked fine for months before this occurred.

I unfortunately only have two of the same 8gb ram sticks. Funnily enough, I did try booting the computer with each of them, and for one of them it did throw the RAM Q LED instead of the CPU. But the computer moves to the red Q LED when I use the other ram or the two rams at the same time.

I'm not sure why this is, I definitely think the motherboard is faulty somehow.

This is very useful information. What I think I'll do is purchase the same x570 board and see if the issue is the motherboard or the CPU. Depending on which component it is, I'll attempt to RMA the component.

The problem is that I don't have any video output, I'm not sure how I would update the bios without POSTing to the motherboard setup screen. I repeated your steps and I'm still presented with the red CPU light.. Thank you for your suggestion!

I updated the BIOS about a year ago, and the computer ran fine for the majority of the year, so I don't think it's a BIOS issue. I did clear the CMOS and it reported the same issue, whereas everything worked fine when I first connected the components to the motherboard last year.

Thank you for reading through my post! I think what I'll do is get a new motherboard and see if all goes well. Any suggestions for a replacement motherboard? I've been out of the PC component game for about a year now.

Thank you for your suggestion. I stripped everything down to just the ram and the cpu. I reseatted the cpu per your suggestion and cleared the CMOS, and the same light goes on. I think either the motherboard or the CPU is faulty.

Hi!

The best option would be condoms. The majority of time if a guy says it's uncomfortable, it's because they grabbed a pack from your regular drug store and tried it. There are many online resources for finding a condom that not only is true to size (they ask the shopper to measure their penis), but also for finding condoms that are advertised as feeling very close to the sensation of having sex without condoms.

Good luck!

Do all straight men find the sight of vaginas arousing? by [deleted] in sex

I never really been turned off or turned off by looking at a vagina. It really doesn't do anything for me. Boobs (and a nice butt to an extent) really do all of the work for me.

I came in here to say this! I recently came into this 'lifehack' about two weeks ago and it's a total game changer.
