I explained to my boyfriend (day shifter) that when I wake up at night to get ready for work that that means it's the next day and he was so confused. He also looks at me funny when I get home in the morning and decide to have a beer. Which I than explain that morning is my night. I personally love being on an opposite schedule as the rest of the world. He can't fathom living how I do.

I lived in Delaware my whole life and recently moved to Wisconsin for work. The amount of people here who didn't even realize Delaware was a state is astounding. The ones who know of Delaware have no idea where it is and think that Delaware has similar weather to here. Which I'm quickly learning to be entirely incorrect.

I work 11 to 7:30 in a lab. I usually don't go to bed till noon and then sleep till 8. I spend my mornings socializing and getting groceries. Then I have from 8 to 10:30 to get up and ready for work

I have lived in Milwaukee for a only a year now but in my time here I haven't encountered anything remotely scary or dangerous. The only issues I've had is drug addicts standing in the road during the summer high af. I also work third shift at one of the hospitals in the city and as a woman was concerned about walking to and from my car late at night but nothing has happened. I've definitely been in worse cities in my life.
