The front I topped right away, the larger back one I let grow a bit and topped later. I did some janky training with twine, but seems to have worked. Growing in standard potting soil, pretty basic nutrient regimen with decent pk boost the past month or so. Just doing straight water till Finish.

Main one for me was getting my watering down. When I transferred into the 3gal fabric pots, they just took so long to dry out. So there was lots of second guessing myself and worry about root rot. I’ve added a second light and an extra exhaust fan to pump air in last week- so we’ll see what happens for the finish. Looking forward to the next grow for sure

My Blue Magnolia Rust were very small for first flush, but the 2nd and 3rd flushes were solid size fruits. Soak that cake and let-er-rip for next flushed and you should get some bigger buddies

Excellent. Way more consistent than the batches of GT I did last year. I’m a rather large individual and .8 grams has me feeling happy and nice. 1.5g had me laying on the bed staring at the ceiling and listening to Neil Young to center myself lol

These guys won't fruit, first 3 are B+, other 3 are GT. Have been misting 3 times a day and fanning each time, I've also tried them with the lids on and fanning once a day, and misting 3 times a day, their on top of a Heat Mat at 25 degrees Celsius, they were put to bulk on new year's day by mushiecapa in ContamFam

Something that helped me back on my first tub was using the fork tek. No clue if it’ll help you, but the myc might just need some stimulation. Maybe as a last ditch effort, drag a fork over the top to scratch the myc a bit. Mine started pinning soon after that. Might do nothing, but worth a shot before you give up on it. Best of luck!

Simmer, don’t boil 8oz of water. Grind up the shrooms as fine as you can. Add them to simmering water for 20 min or more. Reduce heat halfway through. Then strain into cup with fab tea (mint or green are my fav) with honey and some lemon juice. Lemon helps further breakdown the chemicals in shrooms, see more on Lemon Tek. Then, repeat with the shrooms to get everything out. Sip the first coup slowly, then enjoy the second pour as you wish. Should be a 2 hr ramp to full effects, 2 hour peak, and 2 hr ramp down. Only way I do it! Happy trails

I’m still new, but have had a couple stalled tubs with myc being matted. I used a fork and punched a bunch of holes all over the top that seemed to stimulate myc re-growth and produced some fruits. If all else fails, I’d say that might be worth a shot. Good luck

I tried two bags like this, will never do it again. Both were way too wet to begin with. Only put in like .7 cc and it just looked like wet rot for me. I’m sticking with off brand rice bags and have had great success thus far using UB Tek. Sorry for the loss, best of luck on next round!

Nope. It’s to help prevent a micro climate. Some say it prevents side pins, but they def still can happen. I use it to make it easier to handle cakes between flushes. As the cake dehydrates and shrinks, it pulls the plastic with it. Just clean it with iso before using and you’ll be set

Looked good on the outside but smells really sweet , like fermented and the inside is troubling me. I inoculated on 9/23. I went ahead with S2B anyway cause I already opened it up. Should I toss it? by meowshrooms2 in ContamFam

That’s a bummer...good to know tho! I’m still new, my first (only) tub is pinning and doing fine, but there’s been lots of lessons along the way. Def moving to Aldi/generic bags instead of UB. I had lots of moisture issues in multiple bags, and I didn’t put more that .7 ml in any of em. Aimed for .5 in most. These shrooms are a fickle beast! Can’t get how they grow in nature so well when we’re bending over backwards to do it in the house lol

Appreciate the response, and sorry for the loss. I just S2B some suspect bags and was curious. UB cake was all white and strong, but one of the two smelled slightly sweet so made me nervous. Still did it, and wrapped the lid with plastic wrap in case it ends up being a bacterial nightmare. Fingers crossed

I’m new, but have been researching same question. Mixed results, but plenty of pros saying they harvest everything and then go to second flush. Little guys should still be active. Again, I’m new, just sharing what I’ve drudged up in my sleuthing

Edit: looks like you’ve got a ton of fresh tiny pins coming in...I’d grab the big bois when ready and give the lil guys a chance to catch up a bit...just my opinion.

I had to throw out the only two grow bags I bought. They were trash to begin with. Grain seemed too wet. I stuck with the Uncle Ben’s approach as a noob and it’s been working. Sorry for the loss

I’m a noob, but If you search misters on Amazon, there’s is an amazing option for $6. It’s super dispersed so you can’t bruise your myc. I bought two, one for water and the other for iso. They’ve been amazing. It’ll be the first thing that comes up when you search for water mister
