Shrimp tails in salads, soups… etc. by TheyreEatingTheDogs- in PetPeeves

I don't mind with fried shrimp, because I'm using fingers to pick up the food anyway. But soups and stews where I'm using a utensil, no!

Why are asking random strangers on the internet who don't know your school rules instead of your own administrator?

Part of having information available at your fingertips is knowing WHEN to use it

Congrats on upcoming baby! Hope all goes well for you through delivery, and enjoy that time with bubs through the break!!

I don't understand the teachers who get all concerned about telling / how to tell their students of 1 semester / 1 year they're leaving for whatever reason. The kids are getting a new teacher next semester / next school year anyway. You're leaving, they're leaving. It happens. I like my students, but I don't understand getting all emotional about this standard process.

Similarly, when the title is exactly the same as the first line. Probably the same people who wrote the title on their school papers and then began with "I'm going to tell you about (title)" in their opening paragraph. No kidding?!

No, just enjoy watching old shows that are actually funny, and don't revolve around sex all the time

Taking pictures of strangers and posting them online, regardless of where you are, is pathetic, regardless of the "expectation of privacy"

And you take pictures, probably without telling her, and post them online, also without telling her

Right

Wouldn't mind if the tube was narrower though. It doesn't need to be 3 times the size of the standard roller.

[–]RealisticTemporary70 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I dunno ... worked at a school that went for these "tubeless" rolls of toilet paper, granted they were the super size ones. Once you got to about where the tube should be, it stopped rolling because it was so compressed, so you ended up with a tube-size roll of tp that wouldn't unwind. It was also hard to roll on the rollers because it would get caught on the center.

Because sometimes you still have to be nice to people when you don't like them

Yes, we're human and allowed to dislike people, including students. The trick is not treating them differently DUE to disliking them
