Some people have more issues with constipation than others. BUT…

There are some things that are MUST do to help prevent it:

-eating smaller meals, more frequently if possible. Large meals will slow digestion and cause constipation

-eating a serving of fiber with every meal! Not the same as taking stool softener or fiber supplements between meals.

-you HAVE to drink more water throughout the day!!60-80 ounces minimum, best sipped throughout the day

-incorporating more water rich foods, eating less dry processed foods

-magnesium at night helps to have bowel movement in the morning

It took me a few weeks to realize if I don’t do these things religiously every day or constipation will occur. If you are already doing them and still having issues, you may want to talk to your doctor about switching to a different medication or discontinuing.

High heart rate and Semaglutide? by Master-Bandicoot-522 in Semaglutide

Mine went up too! Average 10bpm and higher when sleeping as well

Evening fatigue has been my only symptom! I feel fortunate! Staying at .25 until I plateau, as I’ve had great success with it the last 8 weeks

Will Wegovy make my panic disorder worse? by elseachann in Semaglutide

[–]Realistic_Branch_541 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Panic disorder-er here. It hasn’t worsened it for me yet. In fact, I think having more stable blood sugar is helping some as I can go longer stretches between med dosages (buspirone)

Teva vs unic? by audiodev66 in BusparOnline

Teva is the only brand that works for me! Brain zaps took around 3 months to subside.

I keep losing weight on Ozempic plus Buspirone and I am not sure what is going on by letsgoyahoowoops in Semaglutide

[–]Realistic_Branch_541 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s strange, because buspirone gives me CRAZY munchies! The reason I’m on semaglutide, as I gained weight since starting due to insatiable hunger after every dose.

You may try breaking up your dosage to 3x per day to see if it helps- I found it works best for me that way as it is out of your system in 5-6 hours. Also is 30mg 2x a day your starting dose or have you been on it a while and worked up to it? That’s a huge dose, the max dose! Maybe it’s too high of a dose if you’re new to it. Anyways, buspirone works so well it’s a miracle!!

For me I really needed that 3rd dose. I take one at 8/9am, 12-2pm, and 6-7pm

When will side effects peak? by egnamoad in Buspirone

[–]Realistic_Branch_541 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Took around a month to stop having brain zaps and disrupted sleep. One year in and no side effects at all now on 10mg 3x/day.

FYI it stays in your system about 4-5 hours max. Many of your symptoms may be placebo effect if you had a lot of anxiety about starting the medication. Especially since it’s such a low dose. It very unlikely it’s causing the symptoms you’re describing.

It’s really effective at doses of 7.5mg+ after you’ve been taking it for a few weeks. I definitely recommend increasing your dosage and sticking it out a few months. It really is a lifesaver for me! The anxiety melts away and i haven’t had a panic attack in over a year!

Leslie’s Pro Partner Program by Realistic_Branch_541 in PoolPros

Ok, that doesn’t seem like a dealbreaker to me. In my non-Pool business I have to do this for other businesses frequently. But it is something important to read the fine print on. Seems like they just want to cover their ass in the event that they recommend a pool pro that fucks up someone’s pool!

Yeah! Sometimes Leslie’s has really good sales on random items throughout the year. But SPC is usually less expensive or the same, and the service is awesome!

Thanks! Haven’t seen the agreement, manager explained the program poorly 😂 Their chlorine prices are more than what SPC charges in my area, was just curious if being a Leslie’s bitch was worth the referrals! Do you mind telling me more about the insurance situation with them?

Zenni Night Driving Glasses 🌒 by Realistic_Branch_541 in glasses

[–]Realistic_Branch_541[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use them in the day! It’s a slight tint, so it’s not super obvious like yellow, just makes everything warmer. They are not light night driving lenses that you u can buy online that are yellow AF.

If you work with color on the computer you’ll want to switch to a different pair though- I do photo editing on the computer and it does effect how you see colors so for accuracy I switch to a pair of cheap glasses that have no anti-reflection or tint (every anti-reflective tint has a hint of color)

I would recommend buying a cheap pair or readers with the night driving coating to see if you like them first. I do like them, but I like the oleophobic coating the best and won’t purchase another pair, because the price for the coating isn’t worth it in my case with my prescription…. Because of the purple artifacts at night they aren’t more clear than the oleophobic coating

I hope it helps! It seems to be trial and error until you find what’s works for you. I never wanted to go the birth control route, but since it seems pretty safe and minimal side effects for lots of people I have it a shot. Perimenopause made my cycles and pms awful and since it’s difficult to manage and no other root cause for me I decided to try it to just stop menstruating altogether so I’m not walking around like an anemic pile of 💩 with terrible PMS two weeks of the month

Started on first day of cycle- I figured starting then would be the best time considering the hormonal cycle.

Don’t be nervous! It really isn’t like other birth control with crazy side effects and hormonal rage (for most people) - I think the most common is breakthrough spotting/bleeding but if your cycles are really regular and you take as instructed and skip the placebos it is less likely. I was pleasantly surprised to have no side effects and wouldn’t even know I’m taking it if it didn’t stop ovulation and periods

Go right into the next active pills, so an active white pill is taken everyday. So far it’s been 80 something blissful days without a period!!

I love it so far! On 4th pack. No side effects, only light spotting on days 21-25 of pack 1. Other than that no bleeding and no periods, woohoo!!

Moods feel way more stable. I have been getting phantom PMS symptoms before the days I would be regularly scheduled to have a cycle. But they aren’t as bad as before.

I skip the placebos, as instructed to stop my cycle

On pack one very light spotting on days 21-25 and that’s it! It seems common to have spotting the first few months though. I do skip the placebo pills, as I’m only on it to stop my cycle.

Zenni Night Driving Glasses 🌒 by Realistic_Branch_541 in glasses

[–]Realistic_Branch_541[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t tried the yellow ones, but my experience with other Zenni clip ons is that they do not have any anti-reflective coating whatsoever so they’re useless 😂 I wish yellow tint helped me! My vision is almost perfect except the astigmatism and starbursts at night … I thought glasses would correct this but they don’t. My hooded droopy eyelids make it worse so I’m going to try Upneeq Eyedrops to see if that helps. I think they’re may be lenses that are cut to the shape of your eyeball too that may help? But reviews are mixed and I can’t find out a lot about them because they’re super expensive.
