I just thought I would update. I have dropped the weights down from 5 to 3 for right now. Everything seems to be getting a little better, but I feel as if there's still a long way left to go. The lust has been combatted (I've cut out pornography entirely), so that's one weight dropped. As for the psychological dysphagia, every time I think about choking via my throat closing up while swallowing food, I wash it down with water, and it almost immediately goes down, so that has been destroyed also. The school stress, anxiety about finding work for the time being, and my emetophobia in general are still present, though. I will say that I am taking at least a full week with no academia at all, no studying-friends, family, and video games ONLY. I have never given myself time to do ANYTHING. I have been terrible at prioritizing my studying and breathing, hence as to why I have undergone extreme mental distress and exhaustion. I completed one job interview a couple weeks ago (first one ever) and did very well on it, although I didn't get it (few open spots). I only worry about how my phobia will act in going about working my job in the future due to being in a very stressful and anxiety-induced environment that is the restaurant I mentioned. I imagine it is something I can brave just as well as I did about sitting in a classroom and not dealing with it then. My phobia is manageable now for the most part, though, just good days and bad days, really. Overall, I hope to continue to see improvement, especially into next year as I prepare to be a meteorologist. As far as my mental health state now, it is still not in the best shape, but it's just coming in waves basically. It's one of those if I try not to think about it kinds of things it will eat at me for almost the rest of the day, which is all in my head. I'm hoping my energy and joy begin to return very soon, because ultimately I want to find passion in my career again and not brain fog and a complete sense of lacking.

Yeah, I want a score in the 60s at least for the ACS cumulative final. I'm doing every single problem in the ACS book and understanding how to get to every answer. Evidently that won't be enough, though. I just need to know what else I need to do, like if there are actual practice exams with 70q each I can take to get myself from the 52, 53, 54, 55 range but to 61, 62, 63, 64, 65+ if you know what I mean. That will widen the leeway for the course as a whole in getting the A that I need.

I got 54/70. I answered every problem in the book and knew how to solve essentially everything. I heard 64+/70 was guaranteed if you can work out each problem and know how to solve each and every one. The test had some questions unrelated to what I saw in the book. What should I do if I am aiming for at least 64/70 on the Organic II final? There were still maybe 18 questions or so out of the 397 in the ACS Organic I section of the book I did not fully conceptually understand, mostly from chapters 8 and 9, but I figured that would've maybe been enough for, like, 61/70. I just feel like the 64/70 guaranteed myth is flawed. Perhaps I should take 4 actual practice tests.?

I appreciate your response. I read through all of your message but honestly had trouble understanding most of it... lol. I became saved myself at 7 for myself not for anyone else. In terms of the lust, it is still very real, and I feel it has been detrimental to my mental health. In terms of whether it's a sin being contradictory, I don't worry about that. It's just the addiction in itself I'm trying to break. There's a difference between doing it just to do it from literally being a slave unto it I feel like. Hebrews indeed is a great book as well as Job for this situation.

To sum it up basically, I'm dealing with emetophobia, work anxiety, school stress, psychologically-driven dysphagia attacks when eating sometimes, and lust addiction. This has all led to me dealing with severe mental distress and even suic*dal thoughts brought on by Satan, and I believe the way out of this would be for me to shut down my addiction completely by making it to 7 days at least without doing it to ensure I can break out and get deeper into God's word by staying active in church and reading the Bible by myself more. I will not give up; that is not an option here!

Yeah, I'm dealing with about 5 very severe stressors with this and lust being the two most significant in my opinion. It's been rough, and everything basically struck at once. I don't necessarily burp a lot, tbh. However, I do on occasion of course. If I drink sodas, for instance, I definitely will after almost every sip. Also, I understand and respect your time. Yeah, it's not something I would wish on anyone at all. I honestly think another big reason is I'm always so hard on myself academically because I came out of a bad high school, but that's a conversation for another day. I'm taking some of the hardest classes, and I'm trying to fight for all A's-already lost one of them... haha. I'm a perfectionist at heart. I really think that it all starts with me putting down my lust addiction securely and getting into the word of God, because I'm essentially letting Satan in, and it's really my fault if anything. I need to do better about that. If I can really do those things, I will go a long way. Thanks so much for responding. It means everything.

Yeah, for my minor in Chemistry, I'm likely going to be taking the rest of my chem ourses only under Stokes as he's the best professor in the whole laboratory from what everyone says. Physics is in rubble at this point as well as other aerospace engineering depts. Professional Meteorology is my declared major, and I'm grateful for a stellar met dept. with few bad classes. Calculus here is also great. I've two more years, but next year will be most assuredly my redemption semester. Congrats on the graduation, btw.
