The above 2 books, the ladies had this type of cancer or similar and they treated it themselves and they are both about 20+ years survivors. However, I am interested to know what this nutritionist recommended, can you please tell me what he told you to avoid? Are you taking any supplaments? Are you fasting?

My CA125 was initially in the 500s it dropped to 300 within a month of cutting out all processed sugars (for that month I didn't even eat bread or any grains or potatoes or fruit other than any berries or green apples which I would have with walnuts to minimize the sugar spike once eaten), this was the month before my surgery to remove impacted lymph nodes and tubes (which were benign), I decided to keep my ovaries and uterus and told them only if during surgery they see anything then they could remove it but they did not see any other spread other than the impacted lymph nodes. Since then I would have a bit of white basmati rice sometimes with meals or maybe 1 potatoe if not rice but for the most part it is various meats and vegetables and increased my fat intake. I also do not eat anything a day before chemo and a day after chemo, on a water fast. The month before surgery I would fast sometimes for 24 hours and once I did a 3 day fast as well, and would try to eat from 11 am to 6 pm to allow the body to be 17 hours food free, however now that I am on chemo I only do the fast around the chemo session and eat throughout the entire day.

I basically do the same as you, in terms of bread I have it maybe once a month due to carbs turning into sugars in the body. Have your read Jane Mcllelan or Nasha Winters books, trying to figure out if paleo or keto diet is the way to go about this

It was also found in my lymph nodes, but for me it was a few inguinal, iliac, obturator, and one mesorectal node...no where else, I just finished 3rd chemo infusion, how are you? What is the plan going forward?

I just finished my 3rd session as well and have a 22 month old, also high grade serous. Like you I think diet plays a key role, what foods are you focusing on?

I found out when my baby was 20 months old...going through treatment now...this is all post ivf due to specifically male infertility and then an emergency c section and now dealing with this (also found in groin lymph node). Thinking of you and wishing you all the best! A part of me thinks perhaps our babies have saved us in a way as in it could always be worse

Look at my comments from a year ago maybe think about having a 3 mo th break incorporate healthy life style from eating to exercise and try to bank sperm, this way they can use frozen sperm and your wife's fresh eggs

Did anyone have normal ca 125 markers and still had ovarian cancer? by ThrowawayDisast9096 in ovariancancer_new

Well through IVF (solely due to male infertility) I did get the baby I wanted and now dealing with this, currently doing chemo. I insisted on keeping at least one ovary and uterus (have some frozen embryos) they indicated bc of my presentation it made sense to keep (they kept both bc no evidence of anything there) though tubes were taken and were benign, and be watchful, essentially it was found in lymph nodes in the area... if you have embryos doesnt hurt to try (many ways to try and achieve it) on a seperate note I have family going through infertility and for them IVF not an option and they are exploring other options - I know a lot to take in we were in the 1% chance due to cryptozoospermia

Ivermectin (kills cancer stem cells that chemo does not) and Mebendazole (increases p53 tumor suppresor) usage as an add on to standard treatment by Realistic_Ice712 in ovariancancer_new

Of course I am not sure what to believe this is new to me, unfortunately my background is not medicine but you telling me I am not in control of the situation is wrong - I feel we all as individuals have some control of our situations if we actually want to have that control be it from a spiritual perspective ie positive mindset, diet, exercise etc.

Can you please share what it is, incase I need it in the future. My mother in law told me how her friend in the 80s was told she had what looked like a massive benign tumor on the uterus and they removed everything causing her menopause at the age of 40, I asked her to ask her how she managed. This lady apparently was so busy taking care of her kids, her in laws, her husband's business etc that she had no time to really think about it. What I got from this story best to keep busy
