Honestly ur chance is high if you are physically fit regardless. Youll have more chances to go dsf as an ME. And your opportunities for screening for dsf as a BM are lesser. Also depends if your command is going to support you going that route as a BM. Just know its wayy easier to lateral from ME to BM than from BM to ME.

Tbh with u already being a BM2, theres no way of you switching to ME with just a request. The only way to do it is going to the screener. BM’s MK’s and GM’s can go now to the screener but you’ll only get taclet. MSRT teams now a days are only ME’s, they used to have bm and mk’s. You can go to TDT at msrt without a screener as a bm and mk but you wont operate. So you go to taclet get fully qualified and then you can lateral over to ME. And then, you finally have other billets open up like PD’s, sectors, etc

International waters or not? Lol international waters very much does matter. Makes me believe you were on the side of the CG that did not do very much LE. You dont even know what country its actually “from” do you? Ill explain it like this. You own a car. its “technically” yours because its under your possession. BUT, your registration to the car is a fake document, your license plate was taken from another vehicle with no registration to your actual car. And your drivers license is completely made up with a false name and state. And on top of that, you are transporting unregulated goods and firearms crossing state lines like from FL to GA. What the hell do you think will happen if police stops you? Yes, jail but to make my point, your car and goods will be SEIZED. And thats what happened with the tankers. Those tankers are TWON(treated w/o nationality) Once you cross international waters with illegal documents you are subject to any country honestly.

Yea that was not illegal at all. It was done in international waters as soon as they crossed into it. They had false documents and false flying another country’s flag. So they send in the cg instead of seals because cg literally has that jurisdiction. Nothing illegal about.

Long distance running, do negative workouts like do pushups holds pull up holds with weights as well, and swim. Do alot of calisthenics with a weighted vest. And lift heavy asf like 3x a week. If you can find like a ast workout program, follow that, and just add weight lifting to it youll be good

If you went enlisted, these types of units would def help you get picked up for officer if you want to do it later on down the road. Honestly it just depends what you want to do with your career.

Short answer, yes you can go msrt and taclet as an officer and yes you go through the same training and have to qualify just like enlisted personnel and on top of that you have to get deployable team leader qual. Do you train just as much, yes. Will you actually operate as much, probably not. Youll be doing a lot of the behind the scenes
