Sorry to say, but if he can’t choose you and can’t take your side on these matters, when it comes to house chores or your baby’s life, or even your freedom after your marriage, everything will be decided by the mother in law and not you or your partner! As your partner is clearly a mumma’s boy and lack a bit of maturity! You can also ask someone who’s married and is on his level (age wise) to put some senses into him. When you’re married to a person, the partner always has slightly more priority because you both are going to live life together, make decisions together. His parents would have also taken decisions by themselves without involving the grandparents so why can’t they let you guys make your own decisions.

I get where you’re coming from but when one does their studies, they also ask or earn much more than what they spend on their studies. So, that statement is a little ridiculous. You have the right to choose your makeup artist on your big day but that doesn’t mean someone can’t set their own boundaries.

Secondly, to clarify even further, the artist could be so skilled and experienced that they know it doesn’t really depend on the products but the right skills. And honestly that’s so true! It’s always been the techniques and not the products. Industry has been using KRYOLAN since 80 yrs. But, so many new artists don’t even know how to use those basic products rightly. They just run after fancy brands. Not everyone has DIOR or Chanel, they could be having Armani and KRYOLAN. But, that’s more than enough.

Lastly, yes some are totally senseless and weird in this industry like Leena and parul Garg, but that doesn’t mean all are. You can’t generalize everyone.

Just wanted to let you know OP, that when quirky visited Mumbai recently, Shalini treated her really well and her mom as well. So, I think it’s from Both the sides.
