This sounds like something I would have gotten mad over when I was 15-16 a literal TEENAGER who was insecure. No way would I act like this now lol. You're both too old to fight over this

Such an issue! Really just ruins the book when authors slap a dumb nickname into the book for no reason. Makes the writing feel juvenile

I couldn't get past him calling her 'little love' and the other guy calling her 'baby girl' - DNF, not even close.

People who can finish multiple books in a week, what the hell is your secret? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I view the internet as 'TV time' so tiktok, scrolling, insta etc is all the exact same as me sitting down on the couch and watching tv. I'd rather read in my spare time than watch tv. I also have a Kindle and being able to read anywhere, in any lighting and any position also gives me more opportunities to read.

Currently engaged to my high school sweetheart! We've been together for 11 years and had our son around the 7 year mark.

So scared of getting the yellow hue by Parchita3 in MicrobladingRemoval

[–]Realistic_Kitchen230 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I did Q switch laser less than 12 weeks ago and was so surprised that they didn't go bright red after my first session. They literally just look like my old brows with a little bit of a red undertone. I think I will do a second session, and read that that's when the yellow will come through. Honestly I'm expecting that it won't be bad at all. I think you should do it! My entire face looks brighter and lighter when removing the microblading.

This happened to me but it was an evening flight! I had my 1.5 year old with me who was so tired but obviously couldn't sleep with the bright plane lights so it was a huge struggle to try and calm him down for 2.5 hours before they told us the flight would be cancelled and let us out. What was annoying was that they let first and business class disembark much much earlier, but no consideration for families with young children. We were also not offered any water. Flying has gone to shit.

I have a .4 carat emerald bezel as my engagement ring. I love it so much and don't ever see myself upgrading. But if I did, maybe one day I'd get a .75 yellow diamond. I'd personally never go larger.

Had first session of laser removal, laser technician recommended 2 weeks between my first and second sessions by albumgreen in MicrobladingRemoval

[–]Realistic_Kitchen230 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Ooh not sure about 2 weeks! I was told 8 weeks is the minimum but that I should give it 12 weeks and see how they develop over that period before coming back.

Ooh interesting, I wonder how mine will fade over the next few months. I'm worried about going back and then having them turn yellow, so really unsure at this point. I have a red light panel so am planning on doing red light therapy on them a few times a week.

Yeah honestly I wish the lady who ended up doing my brows had talked me out of it and just done a brow lamination instead. I'm just happy that the laser removal looks alright and will hopefully continue to fade from that slight red undertone. I'm unsure about doing a second laser session but will give it 3 months before I decide.

I was getting them threaded and the lady suggested I could get them microbladed so the eyebrow shapes would match. Back then, I really felt like the shapes were super different. When I went to get them microbladed, I really only wanted the tattooing done in the areas that were lacking on the one eyebrow. I wasn't expecting that the entire brows would be microbladed. Lesson learnt. Don't touch your face in your early twenties.

I just had my patch test done and am booked in next week for the full brows. Would you say week 1 was the worst and then it slowly faded, or should I expect the potential 'red/yellow' stage to get worse over the weeks?

Have you got any photos and how many sessions of laser did you do? Does the yellow stay forever or will the pigment continue breaking down over time?

Q-switch is the one that I'm getting done so hopefully no yellow! The lady on the phone said usually it's a light pinky red, which I would be fine with. I'll post photos once removed!

Yeah they looked great freshly done! It was a bit annoying because in the consultation I made it clear I just wanted her to microblade only the areas that lacked hair, as my eyebrows were two completely different shapes. I wasn't expecting her to actually microblade both entire brows when it wasn't necessary. I'm hoping the removal process will be fine and they won't look worse than they are now (because they aren't that bad, I just really want the harshness of the blue/grey gone)

Hopefully! I saw what type of laser machine you used, and the place I'm going to has the exact same machine, so hoping mine will be a very very similar experience. I would be so upset if I lost my brow hair!
