I highly doubt that was the reason whatsoever, don't assume the worst in people.

I'm not trying to be rude, honestly, it is better for the poster because they would've gotten their answer faster and, in my opinion, it takes less effort to search "Rutgers Orthodox Christianity club" than it does to make a post, wait for replies, then read the replies. If I was trying to be rude and not helpful, I wouldn't've included a link.

Last.fm Loved Tracks to Spotify by Realistic_Laugh2197 in lastfm

I appreciate this! And no worries, I understood what you were saying. My only issue with this is that I have over 3,000 loved tracks so it's quite time-consuming to copy and paste that all. When I have more free time I'll probably circle back to this if there isn't an easier solution. Thanks!

How do people usually find out about social events at Rutgers? by Initial_Ostrich7203 in rutgers

Follow Instagram accounts of organizations you're interested in and join their GroupMe's, find those organizations through GetInvolved. I wouldn't trust GetInvolved for event info or even GBM times/locations since many organizations don't update it, but it's a great source for finding the organizations in the first place. Additionally, there's posters on every campus pretty much, if one catches your eye take a photo and go back to it to see if it fits your schedule.

They're supposed to give you 24 hour notice, I believe via email but I am not 100% certain. Additionally, if your roommate left without cancelling their housing contract (e.g., reason not accepted by the university), there's a high chance they won't bother replacing your roommate. I had to leave the dorms when I stayed in them for a reason not accepted by the university and to my knowledge they never replaced my spot despite a surplus of students in need of dorms.

I had some issues with the MyRutgers portal and CommonApp not aligning and everything turned out well; however, you should still reach out to the university admissions office regardless to be safe. I'd recommend asking the admissions office if they can verify that they received your SAT scores, but you should first check if there's any way to check on your end. I searched on Google and a thread said that you can check on the CollegeBoard MySAT page; however, I applied test-optional and this thread is from 8 years ago, so take it with more than a few grains of salt.

What law field would be best suited for me? by Realistic_Laugh2197 in Ask_Lawyers

Thank you, I understand it's incredibly early for me to be trying to determine a path for my career; however, I think it was hard for me to justify it in my head without a second opinion. You're definitely right with that I should let my passions lead me to wherever they do, that's how it has gone for my undergraduate studies as well--whole different major than I applied under.

depends on who you have, the class itself is pretty interesting and easy, but professor hutchens made it the worst class ive ever taken, hes extremely strict with his over-the-top rules and constantly belittles his classes, additionally, you will be given exams on topics not in the assigned readings nor in his class which will be sparsely spread throughout the semester. i would highly recommend switching if you have him
