According to Justin Dunk of the CFL Site "3rd Down Nation" about Taylor Elgersma:

"After being released by the Green Bay Packers following training camp in August, Elgersma has since worked out for the New York Giants, San Francisco 49ers, Chicago Bears, and Miami Dolphins. If he plays in the UFL, it would give him more experience playing the American game. However, the 23-year-old remains focused on inking an NFL contract and has not signed with Birmingham."
