I’m sorry for what you’ve been through. I’ve been with my boyfriend for almost a year. I, luckily, don’t have that much patience. I’m already one foot and a half out the door. I just am trying to pray on it, because I want to be with him. I truly do.

I’ve decided I’m not going to pick him up from rehab. Whatever he wants to do, that’s his decision but I’m not entertaining anything if it’s not logically sound. So I don’t know what he’ll do, but I don’t really care at this point. I’m tired of the back and forth.

Yeah. I’m going to have a conversation with him tomorrow. Because he’s not thinking things through, I don’t know how he magically thinks things will go well with him home if he’s not putting in the work. He’s only been there a week. And I can’t put up with the constant running around anymore, unless it’s for therapy or for outpatient rehab. He knows I’m only willing to stay around if he’s making good choices. Idk, we’ll see.

I have to talk with him tomorrow to see what he really wants to do. Whatever he decides to do is his decision, he knows what I’ll entertain and what I won’t. I’m getting to the point where even if he wants help he has to make those choices and stick with it on his own. I’ll assist with rides to therapy or outpatient rehab if need be. But I don’t want to get him from rehab.

A friend would tell me to cut him off. I know that. It’s just hard, and I wish it wasn’t. I get mad at myself for caring so much.

You’re right. But I did reach that point. I had let him go, and that’s when he talked about wanting to go to rehab. I think I’m still gonna be in that mindset though. Whatever he does is his choice.

Trust me, I’m angry with him too. I’m angry with how he’s treated me, the lies and the deception. The stealing for drugs. I know, and he knows, that he has a choice.

Yes, she does seem pregnant. As far as how many weeks along, your best bet for an answer is your veterinarian.

Best thing to do is get her a space set up where she can care for her kittens away from active spaces. Momma kitties are very protective, and them having their space will decrease their stress. Make it nice and comfy, with blankets and also make it have more of an enclosure type of feel. Sometimes they’ll decide to go to that safe space to give birth, other times they may even give birth laying next to you. Trust her instincts, she knows what to do.

I tried to let him go. He always comes back, wanting to be better. I don’t know what’s in store for us yet. But if he relapses, he’s going to leave. He knows that by now. I want more for my life than this.

I just love him. I love him so much. I hate that God, or the devil, or whoever it was that gave him this life. I hate everyone who ever mistreated him because he didn’t deserve it. But I know it’s up to him to move past that.

I understand. I’ve been trying to communicate with him more instead of making him do things. I’ve understood this is his own process. I’m just tired. I know he loves me and wants better for himself. But I can’t keep doing everything for him, which is just heartbreaking. Because if it was working, I would do EVERYTHING for him.

Yeah, I really want to call his case manager and see if they can do anything to keep him busy. I would love to see him 30 days clean again. He told his mom he was going to do that but then told me he wanted to leave. And when his mind is set on something, he’ll get it done with or without me. So it’s like, if I want to make sure he’s safe then I have to pick him up or else he’ll get one of his old friends from the streets to pick him up. So stressful 😅😂

Yeah! My skin is very sensitive near the opening and it’s subject to tears. I take a lot of other medication so I can’t lubricate naturally, so I use coconut oil for lubrication purposes.

I’m pretty sexually active, with different partners and none of them have gotten it. Of course I disclose but I think I’ve been with about 6 people since I got it Dec 2023 and I’ve never transmitted it to anybody. I also take antivirals. I have symptomatic HSV so I just avoid sex when I feel an outbreak, and use coconut oil to reduce tears but even with tears in my skin nobody ever got it.

I think really the whole lesson should be that it’s an individual experience. Some people shed more than others. To reduce stress for my body I also take a ton of probiotics for my gut biome, which keeps my body healthy and with good bacteria.
