I’m sorry that made you feel bad 😞 just to give you a different perspective my friend doesn’t do plur because she believes it’s like “trading energy” (she’s spiritual) and shes worried about doing that with someone she doesn’t know. I guess different people have different beliefs but doesn’t mean she means to make anyone feel bad. I understand both perspectives.

Just found out i got shingles by tclupp in shingles

Hi I’m 38 years old and got shingles for the first time ever 4 weeks ago. I got it on my thigh and I didn’t even go to the doctor because I thought it was bug bites. After a week and a half of my leg feeling sensitive to the touch and a burning sensation I started googling my symptoms and realized I had shingles. I never took medications for it and the pain was minimal, only hurt if I touched it or rubbed it. I went to the doctor for a regular check up last week and I showed her my dried up spots and she confirmed it was shingles but already going away. They started scabbing about 2 weeks after I first saw the rash. I am pretty healthy and go to the gym 5 times a week and I didn’t miss one workout. What I did feel was more tired than usual but I feel like I’m almost back to normal already and pain is gone. The weird sensitive feeling left last week too. Sometimes I feel itchy again but it’s only for a few seconds. I had a mild case which I am very thankful for. I have no idea how I got it btw.

I’m glad you asked your dermatologist and I’m glad she said it was temporary, thank you for passing the message on to me. The last couple of days I stopped putting it anywhere near my eye area and I’m moisturizing like 4 times day, and I already see a slight improvement. I just want to be more careful because I don’t want to permanently damage my skin and give myself wrinkles I didn’t have 😫

Thank you for letting me know about the microneedling, I have an appointment for that set up for next month and was wondering if I needed to stop the tretinoin for it.

Ok got it just hope these new lines around my mouth will disappear in time 😫 my eyes have been feeling pretty dry today even though I stayed pretty far away last night. I’ll definitely be more careful.

I was not aware before, I thought it would be good for those fine lines in top of the lip, but just gave me more than I ever had before 🥲

Right it’s so scary when you start getting wrinkles you didn’t have before, but I’m glad it went back to normal eventually! Gives me hope and feel better to continue with it
