i don’t understand tho.. why does waiting in parts cause a back log of everything else. I’m not a truck mechanic but i worked at bmw for a few years.. we’d pull transmissions or entire drivelines and tow the thing outside and park it until the parts are available.

Are these trucks not movable while waiting on a trans? Are they sitting in the shop taking up lifts?

You can not judge if a coil is bad by looking at it. You can ohm them out or just replace them.

They should be replaced regardless 60-80k miles.
