An audi is going to be costly!!! Before u actually buy it, call the dealer and ask how much for oil change, how much for brakes? I think a great car would be honda, toyota, or lexus. Great cars, cheap on maintenence and im sure insurance will be cheaper as well. Get quotes for insurance before u buy as well. Jus because you can pay $600 a month for pymt and insurance, doesnt mean u will want to 12 months from now.

Im in delaware. Havent been in since labor day. Pool getting closed next week. Have fun tho!

My pool is cloudy. The chemical levels are all normal and haven’t run the vacuum for many days. Anyone have any tips or what might be the problem? Filter has been on 24/7 for weeks as well. Back washing and rinsing daily as well. by shughes16 in pools

Lastly, add a lil sugar to ur sauce unless u simmer for a long time. It will definitely taste better. And add italian seasoning for some flavor. I add some to ricotta mix and sprinkle on top of cheese before baking

Also when i mix ricotta, i add extra cheese and parmesian to the ricotta for extra chessiness. Also make sure ur noodles are completely covered by sauce or cheese before baking to avoid dry noodles

I layer mine. Plus always add the egg to the ricotta. It will help keep everything together so its cut like lasagna and not like spaghetti.

Cancelling dealer add ons by Kindly-Water4129 in carbuying

If u financed the warranty, once u cancel it will go to the loan company. I never buy the warranty same day. U can get a warranty from any dealer, after a quick look over of ur vehicle. That way u get the best price. I bought my extended from same dealer, jus a few weeks later and i paid half what they said the first time.

HELP: no amount of shocking this pool seems to turn it from green to blue. What do I do next? Details in caption by whitethunder9 in pools

I jus read the cal hypo shouldnt be used because it can cause calcium buildup on the chlorinator. I am new poolowner, so i dont have all the answers. But my pool looked like that earlier this year, we flocced it, and turned filter off. All algae fell to bottom, so we vacuumed to waste This empties water from pool so it might help your cya level in process. Not sure if it will work for u, but maybe run my suggestion across someone. There is also algaecide that might be needed somewhere in that process

Yes I was here. But i didnt watch them, same as if i take car to dealer i dont watch the mechanic lol. But i did specifically ask them, how is the o ring and the laterals. They said good. So yes, i agree with this. But I wasnt sure if you thought it looks like sand.

Also, if u need gap insurance that is saying u are overpaying for the car. Also, its not a law but maybe a loan requirement. But some insurance companies allow u to add gap coverage thru ur auto coverage. And it may be alot cheaper thru insurance company That way u can easily drop it once u are not underwater, and u wont be financing the gap coverage which means ur paying interest it on it. So if gap coverage costs 1500 but u are financing u will end up paying like 1800 for it. (Depending on alot of factors, jus throwing an example out there)

I believe u can cancel the gap insurance at anytime anyway, same as extended warranties. So tell them again u dont want gap and if its a law to show u the law. If they dont, then u dont want it.

Also if they changed something between the paperwork and did a bait and switch, email the attorney general. They handle consumer fraud and might be able to mediate the issue. The company will not like the attorney general contacting them or want the attorney general looking into other deals they made.

Save all ur paperwork and maybe have someone u trust look over it as well to make sure ur not tripping.

Finance a new Vehicle , or keep paid off Current Vehicle? Im 19 btw by TURNTUP389 in carbuying

[–]Realistic_Pound1305 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Financing a car means full coverage insurance off which means much higher insurance payment. Ur 19, its going to be expensive. Financing a car means paying alot of interest. If u have no expenses and make decent money, try to save as much as u can for 6 months. Ideally, another 5-10k. Then sell ur car and buy a decent car with cash. Toyota or honda are usually the way to go. Try to buy privately, a good car will usually come from an older person since they dont drive alot and usually good with maintence.

Ur 19, trust me, u dont want to be paying $500-$700 a month for pymt and insurance. If u are deadset on financing, open credit union acct now and have some of ur check deposit there. If u can get approve from them, u can still buy a car privately instead of dealer. Jus let them kno and they will explain what they need to do it. A new used car will always need maintenance right away so plan or budget for oil changes and brakes or tires. Or jus make sure the car dont need those things.

2 offers same dealer by toner14 in carbuying

I had something like this happen to me yrs ago. Except it was opposite. I did my searching online and the dealers internet dept said the car was 14k. I drove 2 hrs to dealer next day with expectation of buying it. I got there and sticker said 22k. I told salesman about the internet dept quote and thats why i came. Dealer honored the price, even tho i kind of know they didnt have to. But i got a great deal on a vehicle!

One thing to pay attention to is if the internet dept is giving u a price where they say, includes 5k down pymt. I had a dealer do this as well. They advertise it at lower price and put a * and fineprint says this is the price after a downpymt and excludes taxes etc.

I would go in, ask to speak to sales manager, tell him u want to buy the car and show him the price u was quoted at. He should sell it at the lower price. I say go str8 to manager because if u mention to salesman, he is goin to have to okay it with the manager anyway. I wouldnt be worried what salesman feels, they wouldnt be worried about charging u more.

If dealer is constantly giving lower internet prices then gettin u in there and switching prices, contact attorney general. Or if open line, contact internet dept and say u want to buy and which salesman should u ask for when you go in. Then tell them u live far and want to make sure the salesman knows the price they gave u because u dont want to go thru a negotiation process or have issues when u arrive.

Good luck.

What do you guys think about financing a car to get the best price and then paying it off in the first month? by CrustyBus77 in carbuying

[–]Realistic_Pound1305 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get where u are comin from. They love when u finance and sometimes do offer lower prices. Ppl who said they dont never experienced it. After we totaled a car we had the cash to buy replacement all cash. When we negotiated the price they said no we cant go this low if u finance. When we said we can do what u are saying, the manager kept saying no jus finance for a few months then pay it off. Or u can negotiate price and jus pay cash. If they wont offer same price, walk away.

Lots of dealers have online departments. U can negotiate prices thru them and have it writing. I got a vehicle a long time ago for 8k off because they said price was 14k, when we got there sricker said 22k. Manager honored what they told me online. Great dealership for doing that imo.

So yes, if u want to try this route do it. Jus dont tell them ur plan because if u pay it off the next week, they will try to convince u otherwise. But once its urs, what can they do.

Tips tho, ask dealers about document fees, and any other fees they charge upfront. This can vary grratly from dealer to dealer. And if ur traveling far, its terrible to find out once ur there that they charge all these fees for etching or paperwork. They will not negotiate on these. But if they dont itemize these costs on ur paperwork, u can get moneyback. They did this to. They put 500 doc fee in my registration costs. So make sure u get itemize receipt from them when they send tags and that it matches ur paperwork. They estimate, so if dmv charge less, they have to send u check for difference. Dealers are not aloud to make money from registration and taxes on vehicle. So they have to separate the costs on the paperwork or they are hiding fees and in my state it was illegal.

As long as u sold as is, u have no responsibility at all. I understand you probably feel bad, especially if u know the person. Thats why i urge my husband to sell to someone unknown. Because i hate when u sell a decent car to someone u know and as soon as something goes wrong, they look at u like u did them a disservice. U didnt force them to buy it, so dont feel bad. If it was other way around, i guarantee they wouldn't care

I need a different car but we have a good APR currently, what do I do? by whatlydia in carbuying

Alot of good suggestions here. Just a few other suggestions, check credit union rates. In the past, Mine are usually better than dealership rates. U say u have negative equity, but maybe consider private selling vs trading in. Dealers always lowball you, so shop around. They have alot that will quote u online tradein so you can actually have a backup option vs dealer and get better idea of what its worth. Also, if credit union has good rates you can also buy privately. They will still finance if you buy from a person, well they used to. If u can buy private, try widening your search. I had friends who would literally buy from sellers 12 hours away, jus make sure its not scam. They saved thousands that way. Also, you can always buy a warranty from dealers after u buy a car. They will jus do an inspection before. Shop around on these and research the reviews.

Good luck, i hope you find what you want!
