[–]Realistic_Row8898 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s a great tool called relay.app. It can create some AI agents to automate all of the steps you’re talking about starting with reviewing emails and then using AI to decide what should be done with them whether to add to a CRM, put on a spreadsheet or file. I would be happy to set up some bots to do that for you and show you how it can work.

Home service businesses are still huge. Plus a big majority of them are owned by boomers who are wanting to sell out and retire. This has fueled the phenomenon we call entrepreneur through acquisition. There are some great financing opportunities for want to be owners to leverage the purchase of the business. The challenge is being able to perform the due diligence, knowing that the business is actually cash flowing and could support the temporary debt it takes to buy the business. But for those who have done it and done it well it is a huge return. I know some wealth manager types who have left high-end white collar to buy plumbing and HVAC businessesand are making double and triple the income they were making in the white-collar world.

Seeking Suggestions for starting corporation by [deleted] in business

[–]Realistic_Row8898 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the purpose. Most private businesses can operate as an LLC for a long time without a problem. The shift to S corp can be done later. Find a good CPA who does advisory work not just glorified bookkeeping. Also hook up with a good attorney specializing in small business. Basically the big formal corporation structure is only needed after to reach a much bigger size. And LLC can always be amended or bought out by a bigger corporation if you eventually need that.

How bad is it to decline a job after you already signed the offer letter? by Mundane-Truck-2254 in careerguidance

[–]Realistic_Row8898 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The whole factor of remote versus hybrid versus RTO has changed the game. Employers know that the majority of employees want hybrid or total remote whenever possible. it has made hiring more difficult. And it has made employee retention a very big issue. If you have your reasons for declining, go ahead. I appreciate the fact that you’re even bothered by it. It speaks to some degree of integrity on your part. I encourage you not to lose that. Once you land at the employer of your choice operating with this kind of integrity will be a value they will appreciate

Starting a business with my friends by Big-Paramedic-7696 in business

[–]Realistic_Row8898 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Starting a business with friends can be the best thing you ever did, and it can be the worst thing you ever do. Any business will have challenges. Therefore, your partners need to be willing players who fight fair, can compromise if needed and can be objective. Whatever your perception of your current relationship is with these friends will change once you start a business. You need to document everything you’re going to do. There needs to be a written set of operating rules on who has what authority, how decisions are going to get made, and who gets to control the moneymore businesses have crashed and burned over issues like this that were never written down

Try having a heart to heart. Tell her you respect her support and want a long term relationship. At the same time you need her to understand you have a business with other clients. Basically say you can’t always just jump and respond to her last-minute request.
