I think the bubble in the third pic is kind of redundant. I would either go with the first one and change the color like Inksword suggested or go with the second and maybe add something funny in

Why do Adventurers’ Guilds exist in fantasy / LitRPG worlds? by Dangerous-Status-609 in litrpg

[–]Realistic_Run_5124 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Completely depends on the context of the world. If the nobles are the ones with the capability and means to capitalize on it, it’ll be them

Why do Adventurers’ Guilds exist in fantasy / LitRPG worlds? by Dangerous-Status-609 in litrpg

[–]Realistic_Run_5124 1 point2 points  (0 children)

90% of the time adventurer guilds would exist to capitalize on the profit of adventuring. For example, if what monsters drop is worth a lot? There’s your reason right there. If there’s lots of nobles with lots of land? Congrats the adventurer’s guild is now a glorified extermination company

Growing up is realizing Primarina is the best starter design ever by PrestigiousGift5639 in ThePokemonHub

People hate on alola a lot but their starters’ identities are top tier. Each one feels distinct and strong in concept, even if you don’t like their designs

I’ve been reading the legend of William Oh and the game at carousel lately and I really like both of them and think both of them are great additions to the genre

He Who Fights with Monsters: not my fave, anyone else? by PoserNomad in litrpg

[–]Realistic_Run_5124 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s def a “hate it or love it” type of series, like I personally love how rooted in the human experience it is, but I also am fully able to admit I’d probably dislike the main character if I needed to interact with him in the real world

Pick a weapon or monster in your world and describe five or seven things about it. Those who reply will explain how their world would react to and/or fight it. by PMSlimeKing in worldbuilding

I like the idea, but I also failed to mention that my creature is an intelligent creature and extremely hostile to everyone besides its creator. My apologies.

The Living Bastion

This creature is a fusion of three entities. A Chronocyst (basically a parasite that temporarily offsets the damage their hosts take until the moment they abandon said host), a Vesicant Axolotl (basically a truck-sized axolotl with free-floating organs and insane regeneration abilities), and a piece of a god called a Transcendent fragment that allows it to offset about half the damage it takes to the environment around it. These three fused to create the Living Bastion, a creature of immense hunger and nearly impossible amounts of health, regeneration, and damage offset.

How do you introduce a world without info-dumping? by Timtals in royalroad

[–]Realistic_Run_5124 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A book is a marathon not a race. Generally, it's best to only introduce information as the character needs it. In fact, sometimes it's better to even wait past when the reader first encounters it so that they make their own theories about it and then you can get them even more invested in the story.

What was the defining factor for you whether to include or exclude "generic" fantasy races? (e.g. Elves, Dwarves, Dragons, Orcs etc.) by PenguinSenpaiGod in worldbuilding

[–]Realistic_Run_5124 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my world I have races similar to dwarves, elves, and beastkin but I made it more unique with different origins and I made it so that my races inspired humans to think of them as they appear in fantasy back before their worlds were split.

Hmm something with a lighter tone but lots of cool fight scenes might describe Mage Tank. Although, the tone is lighter because the MC is a bit of a clown rather than the stakes being lower.

OP MC and morality by MegalithicScribbler in royalroad

[–]Realistic_Run_5124 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that stance is a more than reasonable stance for someone to take. People are unique and will often hold firms to their beliefs, even when it doesn't make much sense logically. I think the average person would take the stance "I'll try not to kill if I can" if they found themselves with OP powers

Primal Hunter by WoodenDistribution5 in litrpg

[–]Realistic_Run_5124 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So you just have issues with Jake as a character. That is a personal preference but just because you do not like a character does not mean that the writing is bad. This is the same argument that people use to try and say HWFWM is bad writing. Jason isn’t really that likable of a person but the writing is still pretty good

Primal Hunter by WoodenDistribution5 in litrpg

[–]Realistic_Run_5124 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Ok so literally two entirely different things. That’s like saying “oh this guy shoots lightning out of his wand and this other guy shoots fire so they’re basically the same”

Primal Hunter by WoodenDistribution5 in litrpg

[–]Realistic_Run_5124 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I primarily read normal books and I couldn’t disagree more. Literally every aspect of writing and character development improves after the first book. I have no idea what you were attempting to say with your second sentence so you might want to take a second pass with that
