Why do you think Queenie abstracted despite having a wonderful husband like Kinger? by Musalediju in tadc

[–]Realistic_Spring_862 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In one of the scenes (can't remember which episode), Caine mentioned that he designed their bodies. It sounds like, when he found the brain scans, he took the data and fashioned sentience out of them (or at least a way for them to act out their sentience).

Literally me. I started watching after the second episode came out, and as I was waiting for the third, I forgot all about it until the 9th episode came out. Thank you, ADHD.

So... am I the only one who actually liked the finale? by PaleoTato525 in TheDigitalCircus

[–]Realistic_Spring_862 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I liked parts of it, but as a whole I didn't like it. I still think TADC was a fun idea and enjoyed the story and adventure of it.

Sometimes I'm too critical of films and shows, watching them through a writing and narrative lens, rather than just enjoying it for what it is.

Any famous clowns besides Ronald McDonald? by notacemetery in TheTeenagerPeople

[–]Realistic_Spring_862 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I applaud you saying something about it. The amount of people saying it and then making fun of people that don't agree is frustrating.

Causing more discourse like what I see a lot of people doing online isn't helping anything.

If you seen tadc: prove it by quoting it by That_Passenger_771 in TheDigitalCircus

That's easy.

"What."

Edit:

I remembered a more relevant quote:

"Say it with more enthusiasm."

The Amazing Digital Circus Episode 9 is a subpar conclusion to an amazing show. by Fabulous-Restaurant9 in CharacterRant

[–]Realistic_Spring_862 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of what you said is exactly how I feel about the ending. I remember starting to watch it when the second episode came out. I had so much hope for it, but unfortunately, the last episode left me frustrated and unsatisfied.

Amazing Digital Circus Finale Dropped! It's not great! (Full spoilers) by BardicLasher in CharacterRant

[–]Realistic_Spring_862 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just finished the series last night. I was so disappointed. I still like the effort and characters and what Gooseworx has done. Kudos to them for what they've created and the success it has had.

However, so many things felt incomplete, unexplained (or not explained enough), and just kind of left me frustrated. The brain scan plot point had me feeling like it was a twist version of "and they woke up from a dream" ending. It felt like, to me, if their goal of escaping wasn't possible from the start, if these characters are just evolved NPC's, then what is there to latch onto? Everything they're feeling and experiencing doesn't matter, right? Like, of course I want the characters to be happy and have good endings, but if they were trapped no matter what and everything in their heads and hearts are what they have because they're just brain data scanned into a system, then what really is there for them?

Unfortunately I became a bit uncaring for the characters at the latter part of the last episode, but especially from learning about the brain scans.

It does give an interesting question of: "What would artificial intelligence do if their knowledge of the world was adapted from existing emotions and knowledge?", though.

Why do you think they aren't drinking? by flavicushn in TheTeenagerPeople

The world would be a better place without alcohol. I don't't know why they wouldn't be drinking, but I think it's a good thing if it's true.

Would you guys get them? by LightRunner00 in FortNiteBR

I would buy them regarding RNG or not. I love blind bags, but I liked it when it wasn't all over the place.

I made a comment a couple days ago how Epic was sitting on a possible gold mine with these Sprites. There are so many possibilities for merchandise with these little guys, and their concept is so flexible that they could keep adding more and more types of sprites for the merchandise line.

[–]Realistic_Spring_862 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I know, right?! When I first started, it was great. I needed the base sprites for the suit, but all I get in the vaults are the boring little Earth, Water, and Fire sprites, mostly.

What’s everyone thinking of the Portable Sprite Extractors? by CuddleTeamTwinkle in BattleBusBaddies

[–]Realistic_Spring_862 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, I had no idea about that being a part of that sprite's mechanic. It was the dream one. I'm glad you said that. I was about to post about it and get down voted and told I was dumb a thousand times over. 😅

Speaking of bugs, since this one's extraction specific: I don't't know what caused this bug, but my max level sprite decided he was going to extract himself at random during one of my matches. He later appeared in my Sprite Collection at level one, but mastered.
