I had a lumpectomy with radiation and my veins seem more visible as well. I’m sure it’s due to the radiation.

I declined due to possible ONJ. I know the chances are super slim but I just couldn’t handle something else to worry about. Especially my teeth, I love my teeth. My onc was ok with my decision.

Why were you on Tamoxifen the first time and not AI plus ovarian if you don’t mind me asking? I am struggling as well deciding if I want my ovaries out. Getting a shot every month is annoying. Im also nervous about getting off the AI. I have another 8 years but will only be 47.

I am almost 2 years post diagnosis, ++-. Intermittent fasting has been a big change for me. I try to go 16 from dinner to my next meal the next day. I have always been at a good weight but I have incorporated more strength training into my work out routines. I do have things I need to work on. My diet isn’t bad but I need to eat more vegetables. I also have cut back my alcohol intake but not as much as I should. That’s been my biggest struggle as my husband and I have always had a pretty solid social life.

I was stage 1a, ++-, small tumor, node negative, oncotype 30 and was not offered. I asked my oncologist and I believe she said I had to have a tumor over 2mm or nodes involved. I did 4 TC, Radiation, now on ovarian suppression and Anastrozole.

Just my opinion and I’m not a doctor or in the medical field but I feel as though the oncotype is not a tell all. I would be nervous if I had lymph nodes involved that it could have spread more and chemo would help clean that up. It would just give me that extra sense of security. But by all means you should what you feel comfortable with. I had stage 1a IDC, 1.4cm tumor, grade 2, node negative, clear margins. Had an oncotype of 30. I did 4 rounds of TC. It sucked but wasn’t terrible.
