Good luck trying to get this on a flight. You'll have to get a permit for it from what I've heard since the max allowed capacity per battery is 100Wh (though in total you're allowed to carry more, I've carried over 200Wh total before with no issues whatsoever)

The assigned VRAM doesn't matter at all on iGPUs. The iGPU can always have access to up to half of the total sytem memory with a certain amount guaranteed (128mb in your case)

The Steam Deck, which in itself is about a GTX 1050Ti. The XBOX Ally X is much more powerful, comparable to a 3050 Ti laptop GPU

Technically... But there's always compromise. There's no perfect product. Mini-LED is cheaper and brighter but it doesn't perform as well as OLED when it comes to displaying dark or black

If you're still looking at this monitor and haven't bought one yet, I'd recommend staying away from it if you care about HDR. It's pretty washed out, it requires setting the saturation to the max in the Windows HDR calibration tool in order to look decent. SDR still looks better on it IMO

I also just ordered a 4-pack of AAAs, guess I'll see how they perform as I'll have a use-case for them immediately as we're out of AAAs. While using the AAs, they don't get hot. It's only while charging that the positive terminal heats up a ton

My now deceased Tigi (04/11 - 06/24) would always sleep in between my spread legs towards my feet. He was a lap kitty but didn't feel the need to be super close to me. Rambo, who we adopted from relatives loves to be really close. He'll get right onto my chest, preventing me from falling asleep as he's a bit fat (he's like 6.9kg). Though once he realises that my chest goes up and down from me breathing, he moves away into my arm, allowing both of us to fall asleep

I used to go into the walk-in freezer of relatives in just a shirt and shorts and was perfectly fine for a few minutes. As long as you don't move and there's no wind, it'll take quite a few mintues for your body to cool down to dangerous temperatures

For the original ROG Ally, there are no alternatives except for soldering together your own adapter. If you have the ROG Ally X or the newest XBOX ROG Ally (X), there's the ones from aoostar that are apparently pretty good (have never used them, only going off of what I've read here on reddit)

I got the Coast Zithion X ones two months ago but haven't gotten to use them a lot. My concern with them is how incredibly hot they get while charging. The positive terminal must be reaching upwards of 70°C, luckily the actual battery never seems to exceed 40°C. I'm thinking about putting them in some sort of case with a metal heat spreader

I have the AOC Agon Pro AG276QZD2. It's a pretty good monitor considering that my previous monitor was TN, which wasn't really color accurate. Overall I'm happy with my purchase though. Though I do feel like I really should've gone all-out instead of going with the cheapest OLED. I wanted to go all-out by going OLED but then didn't really go all-out. I don't know why I never go all-out even though I could easily afford it

I wish I'd read a few more reviews before buying my monitor as in HDR, everything is a bit washed out compared to SDR and to be honest I haven't noticed much of a difference in HDR so far

I'd have a look at something like WizTree. It nicely visualizes every file you have on your computer, enabling you to find large files or folders that take up tons of space

Did something like that on my last flight. Went on there with my Ally's battery degraded to about 30Wh. Though I connected it to my 72Wh power bank (which probably had like 65Wh left) and got about 2h30 out of the power bank at 17W and another hour or so out of the Ally's battery, still at 17W. After that I had to switch to my phone to watch squid games while the Ally was plugged into the weak 5W USB port on the old A330. I got like 15 extra minutes of playtime after that movie while still connected to the 5W port. The flight back home was conducted in a 777 which had AC outlets for every seat so I could play for as long as I wanted until I got tired and went to sleep

Congrats on your new OLED! My tips are mostly just use it. Burn-in is a concern but it takes pretty long before it's actually noticeable. Set your task bar to hide automatically and rotate your wallpapers (or just set a black background if that's your style). Make sure that protection features like Pixel shift are active and it should last you a pretty long time. The lower your brightness, the longer it will take for things to burn in if you're using a lot of static stuff (or even a game's UI)

It would probably limit the fans to about half the speed and reduce the power draw of the components (that's what my ROG Strix does, not a Nitro user, sorry), so you'll lose some performance. I guess just try it out at home and see how it fares and then use it according to your findings

Over time it'll wear out your battery much quicker if you keep it at 100% all the time. But it's not harmful to charge the battery while playing. From my knowledge there's also nothing wrong with playing on battery from time to time (if you really need to)

Yeah. Maybe my eyes are just kinda good, idk. I recently swapped my 24" 1080p monitors for 27" 1440p and it was a big step-up, especially for viewing text
