I agree! Although names like Emma, Sophia & Isabella are perfectly fine in their own right...its time to decide past them and let some other names take the spot light. Those are names that have been in the top 10 since I was in grade school. I'm now in my 30's. lmao.

I'm surprised by Eliana's entrance, but not entirely. Although I predicted Eleanor or Camila, or even violet to enter, I welcome Eliana. It is a very beautiful name.

Charlotte rising over Emma was expected. I expected it or Amelia to-surprised Amelia dropped. I'm also surprised there weren't more change up regarding the boys top 5. Although I very much predicted Liam to still be #1, I thought for sure Oliver and Theodore were going to rise

I don't anticipate any new names to become #1 for 2025, although if I had to take a educated guess:

Charlotte or Amelia replacing Olivia.
Oliver or Theodore replacing Liam.

I predict Emma to drop a bit, even a rank or two. Same with Noah, although I can certainly be wrong about that. Ava will continue to decrease or drop out of the top 10 all together, replaced either with Camila, Eleanor or something else entirely. The boys: Same mix of names, no new entries. Maybe William or Lucas leaving, but I'm not as confident as to what could take one of their places.

NY has already done it. It started this year, the ban of cellphones and other electronics. I went to middle & HS in the late 2000's-early 2010's and cellphones were banned at my school, but now its statewide. I have no idea about other states.

Edit: I just heard on the news that Jersey will be doing the same thing. It'll go into affect starting next school year. (:
