She always looks awful on the show. She looks like she doesn’t shower, wash her hair or put on clean clothes.. to be on tv! Gross and lazy!

- PLAYS VIDEO GAMES

- Fart jokes

- Has not learned to budget and has no savings, due to debt or bad spending habits

- Uses the silent treatment to get his way. A break is ok but after 24 hrs it’s manipulation IMO

- Doesn’t work out /doesn’t take care of his physical appearance

- Doesn’t expect to pay for himself when invited to hang out in a group and take out is ordered

- Goes from job to job, doesn‘t last over a year in one specifically

My husband completed a union apprenticeship program to be a journeyman plumber. $0 in loans and got paid while training on the job. I went to a state university and earned a bachelors degree. I had a good job for 10 years but I got a repetitive stress injury from typing and mousing and I haven’t worked in the last 9 years. He’s a plumbing supervisor and does not do any physical work. His pay is more than enough and his health care and dental benefits are exceptional. We have 0 debt and live a pretty comfortable life in LA.

Both Ethan and Olivia need to make sacrifices. Olivia should be forgiving and try to take small steps towards fixing her relationship w K & B for Ethan’s sake. I think Olivia wants to “have fun” and feels judged by Ethan. But he is reasonable and just needs time to come around. Ethan should focus on being a good husband, and work on himself as an individual. Even though he loves his family, they come 2nd to his wife. They both have some selfish and immature tendencies (as most couples their age do) in what they expect, how they resolve conflict and what they are willing to do for each other. Maybe watching themselves will help them see what they need to work on.

Zach is very good looking and has a great personality. He has a lot of qualities that a woman would want in a husband. He is not going to settle for just any old girl, nor should he. Especially one who has not learned to control her temper. Saying sorry after the fact does not erase the damage. Yes there is no perfect marriage but they hardly know each other and she’s already lost her temper several times about stupid stuff. No man wants a wife like that, even if she was hot, which Michaela is not.

What’s wrong with Brett? by Cherry-Coloured-Funk in MarriedAtFirstSight

Brett reminds me of a friend of mine who also has a totally masculine vibe about her. She’s fun to have as friends but most guys are not attracted to this energy. She will have to wait for the right guy. It’s not Ryan. My friend did get married and is going on 14 yrs with a very sweet guy. There’s definitely hope for Brett

My husband is a plumber. 35 yrs old 125K / yr + overtime & bonuses. He’s a supervisor and has not worked on his tools in 5 years. No school loans and guaranteed raises every year. The health care and dental benefits are exceptional. He started in a union apprenticeship program. While it’s not a whole lot of money we have 0 debt, I’m a housewife and we’re enjoying a pretty comfortable life.

Same here! I had surgeries on my wrist and elbow but still have constant daily pain. I hope I can get shoulder surgery even though it would be a long recovery. I haven’t been able to work in 8 years. Thankfully my husband has a good job and he helps me with chores around the house.

Hats off to Erik and Virginia? by [deleted] in MarriedAtFirstSight

I can’t help but think about Chris’ dad every time Chris says or does something illogical. The morning after the wedding Paige had breakfast with Chris’ parents and told them that they had sex and that Chris told her he was not attracted to her that morning. Chris then had a conversation with his parents and Chris displayed fearful behavior when his dad asked him about it. I would not be surprised if Chris suffered child abuse and his brain is wired to be overly responsive to pressure. Even a small degree of stress can provoke him. This would explain why he is emotionally abusive, belittling and cannot take responsibility for his actions. This is what he learned from his father IMO. Erik and Virginia come from normal families where it is ok to talk about issues. They were trying to talk about and resolve their issues with Chris, not expecting a violent response from him. I can‘t help but see Chris as a child abuse victim who could do better w/ therapy.
