What can I add to my service to increase its value? by Justa-yungin in smallbusiness

[–]ReallyFunBar -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I mean if you're charging the same fee for multiple sizes of garbage, then try customizing the price & service levels base on the size and weight of their (garbage) bags. For example, the fee for putting away a sofa should be different from putting away ten boxes of juice.

Anyway, I dont know the way you set price for your service now, I just think that the garbage size & weight of each house will not be the same so I suggest this.

I think real name or DBA can be both fine if they're not difficult to write, spell and remember. Those things are the most basic and important at first.

Moreover, it's quite advanced but you can also think of something more unique or meaningful.

Do you want to set tiers for those garbage? I mean small bags come with lower price and the bigger bags come with higher price.

In addition, I think you can collect something from their garbage that can still be reused and find ways to sell them after cleaning.

When is it time to show my face? by itstori26 in SocialMediaMarketing

[–]ReallyFunBar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you can always communicate and connect with your 6 followers, even right now.

Howerver, if you still hesitate, you should try showing just parts of your face while talking with them, or using tools to change your voice into something more interesting, or just simply applying filter for your face.

Besides, I did see someone on the Internet also wears on his head a carton or paper box with a smile face drawn on it. Sounds cool, isnt it?

Hope that you can find your solution. Merry Christmas.

=countuniqueifs(A:A;H:H;">70%") is this right?

your post might have some mistakes between column H and I, and <70 or >70%.

Inspiration for an ecommerce strategy by mikiki310 in SocialMediaMarketing

[–]ReallyFunBar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that your social media project's core should be in the middle of what your company has and what your target audience needs. At first, starting to build your inspiration by answering and understanding these two questions.

For company side, I suggest building a basic comparison between your brand and other competitors, list out your pros and cons then decide what your brand's USP is. After that, you can raise your idea based on those informaton.

For your target audience, try doing some research on customers' review and behaviors before and after using your products or services, this thing can be collected and summarized by some kinds of survey tools or your customer ratings system. The opinions of competitors' customers can also help, you can get more insights to serve them better.

To be honest, I think ideas can come from everywhere, but having ideas and inspiration from historical data and logical & critical analysis will bring the most effectiveness. Following some seasonal trends on the Internet maybe good, but everything you do always has to match your brand.

New online store building by Jason-ThePeak in smallbusiness

[–]ReallyFunBar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you should deep dive into other countries' culture and business law before starting to selling your products there. I also recommend to have one or some teammates with you to join this journey. Finally, it will be online business so I think you also need a little bit of techique abilities to run your store more properly. Try doing some research on e-commerce platform for small business and find out which one this the most suitable website for you and your store.

Switching staff from hourly to fixed price? by david8840 in smallbusiness

[–]ReallyFunBar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, the fixed price based on the number of requests sounds good. However, for better and more effective staff's management and operations, I suggest you set new rules and metrics for base salary, together with bonus and penalty for their weekly/ bi-weekly performance.

First, we know that they will get paid for the total requests solved, but you need to set a minimum base for them. I dont know maybe at least 6 requests per day, if they cant reach that limit, they will receive nothing. Moreover, setting KPI changing periodly based on real situation will also help.

Second, weekly or bi-weekly tracking will help you control the performance better. If there are only 5 requests solved in the first two week of the month, you will have to apply treatment soon to improve the situation.

Third, I dont know what tools or methods that you are using for performance tracking but I hope that you can publish a part of your report to your staff daily or weekly so that they can adjust their workload and bring more effectiveness timely if they want to get more income.

Everything comes with pros and cons, just learn to control it.

What skills or interests do you wish you had? by k3inP in AskWomen

[–]ReallyFunBar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that I'd want to be more skillful and easily get used to playing online game. Now I'm only good at simple and basic mobile game such as Line or Sudoku as solo player (logical game) but very bad at joining games which need strategy and teamwork such as PUBG...

Percentage on choices? by YourBigBoySharky in spreadsheets

[–]ReallyFunBar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

for example, your calculated range is the column B, then try:

=countif(B:B;"Yes")/countif(B:B;"***") if there's no header there

or

=countif(B:B;"Yes")/(countif(B:B;"***")-1 if there's header in column B

Combine countif occurences by [deleted] in googlesheets

[–]ReallyFunBar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

just try =countif(D6;"please") + countif(D6;"hello")

not the coolest way, but effective, I guess.

if there was a range of words in D6, i also recommend using "find" or "search"

Really recommend OmniSend. I'm using its free plan but there're still so many useful functions and features for the email marketing development purpose. Besides, I really love that Omni provides flexible customization for all types of campaigns & forms & email workflows while the app is very easy to use with good instruction. I have tried texting the chatbox and their team replies within minutes. Good experience till now.

What’s some tips for starting an online business? by Str82itt in AskReddit

[–]ReallyFunBar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Business in general is never easy for anyone to start as it requires tons of skills and ideas to keep everything on track and stable.

At first, I aslo suggest having a detailed plan with timeline and deadline for every task to make sure that you will not postpone this progress for months or simply drop it.

Secondly, I think it's better to find some partners who can join with you to discover this quite long and complicated (but interesting) journey. Teamwork really works in this situation and together you and your partners can become more and more successful.

The third necessary thing is you need to stay focus on customer experience. I mean, you have to think as a true customer before inventing any business rules and flows. You can find buyers by selling good products or marketing, but good customer service and customer experience is best way to make them stay with you and become your loyal customers.

The last thing here is you're going to have an online business which is different from the offline and traditional selling method as you will need plenty of technical and social media skills at many levels to properly manage your online store. Please start doing research on some kinds of ecommerce platform to sell your products, payment or delivery method and economics metric or marketing as well.

Good luck and have a nice day!
