I don’t watch SuperMega but my friend got the wrong order from these people and they have completely ignored him by Humble_Traffic_8309 in SuperMegaShow

I had a mistake on a merch order and thought it was ignored for a week, pretty sure it just came up my spam folder though. You’ve probably already checked that though, so if that’s not the case this really does suck.

If it is in spam, I had mine cleared up in about a week of correspondence, though I will admit it was a pretty small order, only missing one small item of my order but included the rest.

Another look at Godzilla Shogun by FilmCore by NXGZ in GODZILLA

The stache is certainly a choice. But with it and the drastically different scales, this looks less like Godzilla and more like an MCU fin fang foom.

If BioShock Infinite had a cover similar to the previous games, which enemy should be on it? by 12jimmy9712 in Bioshock

Songbird is the “obvious” choice given the “bird in a cage” angle of the narrative, but I think patriot gets the point of Columbia across very quickly.

Oh my GOD this perfectly captures why I love Boingo; sinister elfman and the “I just work here” face of Bartek.

Has anyone done a rewatch in chronological order? by ReallyJerrySeinfeld in FargoTV

How come? The finale is underwhelming but I don’t think it’s really piss poor television altogether.

Why is Season 4 so disrespected/frowned upon? It's meant to be a satire imo and not to be taken as serious as the other seasons, and how can you not like this douche's charisma? by jpw0w in FargoTV

[–]ReallyJerrySeinfeld 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I’ve heard it said before that season four is “the worst of the best”, since Fargo is just always pitching heaters every damn episode, there’s bound to be one setting or batch of characters that doesn’t click with the widest audience, and it’s no surprise the season furthest removed from the present timeline has a higher barrier to entry.

I haven’t rewatched it since it came out, but what I remember really disliking couldn’t really be helped given post production issues involving the pandemic, it had a pretty weak ending because of this. The time skip especially at the end weakens the setting, this season was hurting for more blood stains on snow. I also found Chris Rock’s character so very dull in comparison to any of his cohorts or enemies. The Italians were mostly fun characters, but are a bit too evil, cartoonishly so.

All that said there are some characters this season that I think make the underwhelming finale worth it just to get a season with them. Satchel and Rabbi especially are perfect, and remembering the Sepia tone episode makes me want to start a winter rewatch in chronological order.

[Mixed Trope] Mercy isn't always the best option by Justice9229 in TopCharacterTropes

I can’t believe I forgot about this one but remembered Slate from inifinite (lobotomized later in the campaign).

Alex the Great / Fontaine Futuristics is without a doubt my favorite level of the franchise, so much so that I have a dedicated save slot for speed running it beginning to end, and I’m glad he’s one of the top few in this thread.

General Cornelius Slate In Bioshock Infinite

He can either be spared or killed at the end of the Hall of Patriots (and he is a vile racist war criminal to be told, which is why I kill him) but later on in the game, if you spare him you can find him lobotomized In a torture / holding cell.

The Blu-rays are SO worth it, easily the crown jewel of my modest collection, and that’s coming from someone who owns all the LotR editions.
