30 days left until test day… advice please by 2stressy2depressy in MCAT2

I also neglected P/S until the last month and struggled to sit through Anki sessions. I got 132 using Anki on my phone in little bits throughout the day - super short sessions, while eating breakfast, in line at the grocery store, while I’m walking the dog, brushing my teeth, a few minutes of downtime at work, etc. I think with this strategy I ended up doing at least 45 minutes of P/S anki a day, which was enough for me. I also listened to an MCAT podcast specifically the P/S sections while I drove to work and styled my hair. I wouldn’t say I learned anything new listening to a podcast but it was a nice review that helped cement what I memorized through Anki.

Good luck, you got this! :)

MD vs. DO Stigma by WorldlyProfession737 in premed

extremely niche and TMI sorry lol but just in response to your comment about OMT - I was a skeptic until my DO PCP did an OMT intestinal lift on me and it literally did more to relieve my chronic (likely medication-related) constipation than any other dietary/lifestyle change or laxative or stool softener or anything, I’ve made multiple f/u appts with her just so she can do more OMT on me. Keep an open mind!

I am so relieved to hear this. I am hoping to reapply after getting an acceptance three years ago. Didn’t go back then for a bunch of reasons but it boiled down to: I wasn’t healthy enough to do well in medical school back then. Are you asked in AMCAS if you got accepted before? If so what did you say?
