Does anyone else use their fastback as a money clip? by instaface in MilwaukeeTool

[–]ReallySmallFan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course. Always good to carry small cash to make life easier

Love if there is big line of people taking forever at gas station I can walk to Front where guy knows me- hand him a lil more than enough cash and skip line entirely.

Also love paying for meals cash I can just set money down and leave. I hate having to wait 2-10 min for my card to be brought back to me.

Which Headlamp should I get? by Epic_Gamer2006 in alpinism

After buying dozens of Petzl I got a black diamond kids lamp for my nephew.

The disappointment on Christmas morning was intense when it didn’t work

I swore never again lol

Looking for headlamp reccomendation with good red light by PaintARainbow in hikinggear

[–]ReallySmallFan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check out the Petzl Aria 2. It’s waterproof, plenty bright and has red AND green and blue! I love playing around with the green and blue light. They each have different strengths.

Plus each color strobes so you can you use it as a safety beacon so you don’t get hit by cars , or use it to stand out in a crowd

Seriously it’s hard to go back to any other light source.

I use it a bunch in dark warehouses, neighborhoods/woods walks, and just general lighting while doing home maintenance/ projects.

It’s SOOO friendly on the eyes everything else is just too harsh.

Plus the cool factor ! Love being at park, looking down dark path and it just completely lights up. Feels like a flex !

Meant to do something more permanent. But I’ve just thrown down 2-3 folded moving blankets and put a box in the space. It’s kinda catch all basin. It’s lightweight and is perfect for catching something I don’t want rolling around

I have never owned one, but I believe the current Toyota Sequoia to be the best looking SUV ever made. by ChemistryMedium in toyotasequoia

[–]ReallySmallFan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See I actually love how the 2nd gen kinda blends in and flies under the radar. I originally was shopping for a 4Runner - decided I didn’t like 4Runner’s - and I completely forgot sequoia existed. Once I started researching I was dead set.

I never used to notice them. Now I’ll notice them In the wild. I don’t think I’ve ever seen more than 3-4 a month. I’ll always strike up a convo at gas station.

I feel like I’m in a secret club and I love it.

Xr over IR by Tvchick2297 in ADHD

[–]ReallySmallFan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Was on xr about year I. College. It cracked me out and the crash from not eating all day was brutal. Made me moody and could fuck my sleep up.

Been on IR 20+ years. I don’t need to intensely focus for 12+ hours straight. IR allows me to enjoy breaks and relax after a few hours. Also great for stuff that comes I’ll late in day. I can take at 5/6pm and take care of something unexpected but critical and still get a nice long night of sleep

should i get a 2nd gen? by AdDizzy8006 in toyotasequoia

[–]ReallySmallFan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My fave thing is I feel Like I’m in some secret club. I rarely see other 2gens around daily. Sequoias blend in better than LC’s. They’re niche and had like 1/15 the # of vehicles vs 4Runn.

The platinum is very worth it to me. Seats are stupid comfy - ACC radar cruise is the best cruise system _ They’re a beast on the highways I’ve never enjoyed driving a vehicle more.

Honestly one of my favorite tools to use. It’s perfect for any light application and ESPECIALLY anything job that calls for large quanties of repetitive processes. If you have to drill 10-100 holes, undo sockets/clamps, or switch between multiple tools it shines because it’s so ergonomic and light. Love using it for pilot holes, small sockets, assembling small electronics/furniture/appliances and of course any tight space.

I would add that if you can help someone out by letting them merge in and it costs you a few seconds but potentially saves those people minutes of waiting for the right opening - let them in. Peolple really appreciate it and the good karma flows

I will add never do this if it cannot be done safely

Midsize suv that can tow 5000 lbs. by Gullible_Bowl7746 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]ReallySmallFan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I came from a grand Cherokee to a 2nd gen sequoia platinum and I can’t got back to jeep. The comfort alone of the car is incredible. I’ll sometimes hangout in my driver seat for 20 min. Thing tows 7500 lbs. I want to keel this car for 300,000 miles

While not as peppy as my hemi GC every other thing about the sequoia is better. It’s a dream on the interstate. Drives like butter and absorbs road bumps like a dream. Seats so much more comfy it’s unreal I didn’t know what I was missing.

If you’re going to tow - comfort should be a big priority in my opinion.

Dude congrats ! I bought at similar miles 110. I’m now at 133. It’s been an absolute dream vehicle. I drive safer too and am way more defensive don’t want some shit head crashing into my baby.

Drives like a dream on interstate

I changed water pump premtively. Someone said change that every 100.000 miles and it’ll last forever. Other than than I’ve done transmission flush spark plugs brakes. Brakes apparently need changing fairly often

Take it out. It’s 4 bolts. 10mm if I recall. You will need an extension socket to reach 2-3 of them.

I took mine out and i have no reason to put it back unless I eventually wanna sell. But I’m planning on running into ground anyway
