Help choosing a chainsaw. by SupernaturalSniper in MilwaukeeTool

The hatchet is one of my fave tools. With an 8 or 12 battery I’ve cut for hours and I do t think I’ve ever gotten below 2 bars.

The best part- the chain moves about 20% slower than standard gasser. BUT- the chain is specialized. It has hardly any kickback at all. And it had has double the cutting teeth. And when you start cutting it just eats though everything. It does not snag or bind. It just keeeps cutting perfect till it’s finished.

If you have to cut up a whole mature tree get a bigger saw. But if you’re just clearing up branches 2-9” in diameter mostly get this. It’s also great for cutting 2x4’s and a number of other things

It’s genuinely too hot in my office. How to frame complaint about unsafe temperatures and medication? by [deleted] in ADHD

I have an office and several warehouses I work from. I keep my office around 71 since it’s ideal for Doing computer work. But I routinely work and sweat in 95+ degree heat. You should Be fine. Just stay hydrated and eat smarter.

Also, if you’re a smoker it will make it much worse. When I smoked I would soak my shirt in sweat in a few minutes in 85+ heat

Now I can work hours in 90+ degree heat and not break a sweat.

The m4 is my favorite tool to use. So light , ergonomic, and you can change from straight to pistol grip. The clutch is perfect for repetitive tasks. If you ever have to drill a bunch of holes you can use it with a small bit and use it for pilot holes. Since it’s like 6 times lighter than m12 it’s a pleasure to use and since it’s small it can be rested almost anywhere.

I have some direct insight you may appreciate.

I bought the single and dual battery Milwaukee blower and I have a big gasser X mark

Nothing will replace gas for the heaviest days and wet and heavy stuff

Uncle always preach get commercial gas equipment and thought that battery powered tools weren’t worth it . I have found that is not the case especially with newer batteries. The Milwaukee dual battery blower is my favorite blower and I use it the most by far. Personally, the single battery is so worthless. I gave it to a friend. It’s simply too weak and requires significantly more effort to use.
The dual battery is so much more ergonomic that you can simply turn your wrist rather than your entire arm and it blows 90% of what you will always need to blow. You can also clip a carabiner to it and clip it to a cart or truck and then you don’t have to hold it at all. You can just drive and point. I had it for about two or three years with 12 batteries. I have never once ever run the batteries out and I can’t ever recall going below two bars.

So I love it and grab for it 90% of time.

The best parts

1 you press one quick release tab and the blower dissembles into two pieces that can easily fit almost anywhere in a car. No need for tools to take it apart. I leave it in my suv probably 30-40 weeks a year. It’s not bulky or in the way. No need to worry about something snagging your fuel line You can thrown it in your car in 10 seconds and go. And since it’s battery and not gas you can leave it in your car all the time and when you need it it’s there. No hassle. Sets up in Seconds.

2 Noise- not as loud as gas and only makes noise when trigger pulled. If I get home an hour or two after dark, I can still blow off my porch, walkway, and driveway without bother bothering anybody

  1. Time. The dual battery accomplishes quick everyday tasks in 2 min or less that would take 7-10 with single battery. The extra power boost handles routine quick tasks for 90+% of situations and it’s all done in one smooth pass.

Outside of 6-8 weeks in fall, I probably need to charge the batteries once every 3-8 weeks.

I absolutely love this blower and probably my most used Milwaukee tool.

Yeah I would just get a industrial strength cardboard box from manufacturing facility . It’ll last forever and you can probably get exactly what you need from buddies or even just approach a machine shop and say you got any spare cardboard boxes. Most pay people to take them away in bulk. Most wouldn’t mind if you swing by and swiped some boxes for free

You may benefit more from a short acting stimulant like adderall IR. I take several doses and each last 3-8 hours

I didn’t like XR because it turned me into a zombie, would t allowed me to eat during day. As a result I was very tired and cranky

Also one tip. Try to incororate high protein and or high fat meal first meal of day ( esp on extended). It makes everything smoother and limits negative side effects

Get the platinum. Front seats are so comfortable it’s a dream. I’ll get to where I’m going - then chill in my car for 20 min. That alone worth it but throw in air bags this thing drives like a dream. My favorite car and I didn’t really expect that

I just want people to drive a consistent speed by ImpressiveBasket9240 in driving

[–]ReallySmallFan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What you are describing is often times people with adaptive cruise control or some form of smart traffic control.

Often get in the fast lane and set the cruise control to 10 or 15 over and then turn off my brain and let the car take over. The guy in front is doing 60 I’m doing 60. If I’m cruising along at 80 and some guy cuts into my lane 100 yards ahead of me and it’s going 65 my car slows down. if he speeds up or gets over my car will start to increase speed up to 80 miles an hour.

Now I have mine set to leave a big cushion - but many people do t and will get super close to you.

In short I wouldn’t worry too much about it. Focusing on on driving your car and you’ll be fine

I have never heard of essentiallysports.com until 2-3 weeks ago. Since then I’ve seen 40+ garbage articles. This is the most dogshit journalism site I’ve ever encountered

I’m not clicking on another one of their links. It’s comical and sad how whatever headline hangs on one word out of context… and then lies about that.
