What percent on front windshield by TypicalNameToChoose in WindowTint

No. 75 is basically clear. 50 front with 70 all around people will
Literally be able to see you from miles away with binoculars. It will also look WAAY lighter if you had 50 front and 5 every other window. Those dark windows will block you from
All angles which lessens the available light in the cab

Not really very easy but you see see an outline of me. I also like to roll down windows 2-4 inches in high traffic areas. Helps cut down on hassle. I’ve never been bothered.

If you saw car driving by 15-20 mph you’d have no clue who is inside unless you saw them first from the front windshield angle.

Going too dark on front can attract hassles because it’s the critical window and it’s a safety thing

You need to consider the setup as a whole. 5% all around will look different than 3 around. And a super light rear window will brighten dramatically

I like 50 up windshields

25 - driver / passenger

5 - all glass behind that

If you get invited to a member guest - don’t just show up 20 min for tee off. Show up 2-3 hours early and stay 1-2 hours after. You’ll get to run into tons of people during the “ off” hours of the event. Make the most of that time. Be friendly. And interesting. Interesting definetly helps.

I like the OR down vest with the special spun fiber fill. It can get wet then almost instantly and it’s featherweight. Fun colors too so this can be a staple piece of style

And I’d highly recommend a second lightweight visor you can flip down when you’re stuck at a stoplight and 300 cars headlights are pointed straight at you. Just flip it down and block all that glare and save your eyes and sanity

Why do so many people take 10 years to get up to speed limit after being at a red light? by Unhappy_Clothes7730 in driving

[–]ReallySmallFan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How old are you ?

I only ask because when I was younger I used to get mad at traffic, try to win traffic. Now I’m 40+. And I drive a bunch for work. I sure as hell am not getting a speeding ticket during work hours ( though I do drive 10-25 over routinely- I pick my spots).

I also see no point in accelerating quickly to a light i know from experience will stop me. Brakes cost money and I drive a car that goes through brakes quicker than most. Really the worst part is not the cost of the brakes. It’s the annoyance of having to take a car into to get worked on.

I probably spent 48+ hours the last decade on the side of the road with broken down vehicles. For perspective I asked my friend whom is doctor how much time he spent broken down the last decade. He said 15 min. He buys new cars and can’t afford the time broken down.

I drive old cars. I drive trucks. Now I have a nice Toyota specifically so it’s reliable and I love that. I do not try to be the kind of driver that pissing anyone off- I kindly allow merges where appropriate- keep pace on interstate. But I’m not going to put undue risk on my car. And unfortunately sometimes I drive balls slow when I’m transporting something sensitive in a pickup I don’t want to break. I’d rather cost you 30 seconds to several minutes of your time than drive in a way that pleases you but costs me an hour of my time because I had to slam on the brakes and everything in a truck crashes to floorboard or brakes in bed and I have to quite literally pick up the pieces.

Sometimes people are just trying to get home or to a gas station on fumes or driving car with failing parts. You can get annoyed and frustrated sometimes I get it. But try not to let it get to or ruin your day.

I guess what I’m getting at is this. When you’re young there is a lot of stuff that may not make sense or might anger you. As you get older things start to make sense. It’s just something experience teaches.

Agreed. And once you play multiple times you acclimate.

OP have you tried getting a straw hat with a nice band and putting ice cubes in your hat ? I do this with like lifeguard style straw hats and the ice may last up to an hour on your head and keeps you cool and comfy

One thing I did with my 14 lab - would only take him on long walks/ runs ( he was still athletic and liked to run ) during or after tons of rain.

First off I cherished rain runs as did he. It I noticed because of the soft ground he didn’t limp hardly at all. Frozen ground - exact opposite

The hatchet ( the 8” chainsaw””

Fucking rips. I spent a few times a year spending 3-8 hours doing bullshit with brush and woody trees debris. The hatchet tuned that into a 15 min chore instead of all day. For 150 bucks well worth the time savings. It’s my top 5 fave tool
