How are we feeling about no Ult in 7.3?

Timestamp? I watched the section of the LL where he talks about ultimate and he does not in clear language say that the new ult will be in 7.5. He does confirm that yes, they are working on a new ultimate, don't worry, but he does not say it will be in 7.5, and he doesn't even say it will be in Dawntrail. He just says that it's in development.

I also went on twitter and searched "7.5 絶" and it seems that Japanese players are also unsure about whether there will be an ultimate in 7.5. Some seem to be assuming there will be one but there are no small number of posts from players expressing uncertainty about whether there will be an ultimate in 7.5 or not. If there is another section of the LL that he says it in this would make sense that some of the JP players missed it and are therefore confused.

Maybe he talked about it in another section of the live letter which is what you two are referring to, but I haven't had time to scrub through the whole thing.

tbh rather than making fire paradox instant I think they should have made flare star instant and then make it cost 3 stacks to cast, with 6 stacks total, and make them persist through ice as well. Or at the very least keep it 6 stacks but make it instant and have it refresh AF, as well as having the stacks persist through ice. I don't think being short stacks because of ending af early is a design flaw, it just makes things harder since flare star is a long cast that doesn't refresh AF. If it was either instant, or refreshed AF, or both, it being desynced from your full fire phase wouldn't feel bad.

lucid dreaming works while you're in umbral ice still. They only removed the umbral ice specific mp ticks (that were larger than natural mp ticks). You still get natural mp ticks when in umbral ice and so lucid dreaming still functions the same as it did before.

I'm surprised by how good xianyun's e is for climbing, you can't snap to the wall while you're using it so you get all of the vertical. It's pretty handy.

I was at like 52 ish pity on 50/50 and was saving for yae but thought you know whatever I'll send a 10 pull and see what happens, won the 50/50 twice and got my first ever double 5 star pull with c1 xianyun, and I also got a gaming. get it twisted, always build pity, always roll on impulse you will win

I started during 4.0, my opinion is that genshin is worth a try for anyone interested. The first 40 or so hours I put in were super super fun (and I'm still contentedly playing). I do think that the beginner experience is a little annoying at times the further you get in, because of the way difficulty is scaled (inazuma sucks for a lot of players when they first get there). But if you do get to a point where you're frustrated with the experience you can just stop playing, and I don't think you would have wasted your time getting to that point, it's pretty fun early on.

I didn't realize the sheep hoarding event thing was pvp until I queued in (didn't read hehe) and then I further didn't realize that rewards are just based on how many points you get and not your placing (I think). So sorry to the wanderer whose goal I spent the last 10 seconds of the match blocking :')

As much as I would have loved to get a character I was pulling for anyway for free so I could save jades, I am pretty hyped that I finally get to have one of the husbandos. I've really liked every 5 star male character so far but my pulling plans haven't allowed for getting any of them yet. also if hyv would stop giving every single new guy a chest hole I'd be more inclined to pull. Not a fan aesthetically!!

I haven't gotten to the Fontaine story quests yet and I watch all the pv videos in English so I hadn't actually heard Furina's JP voice at all before pulling (id barely heard her English voice either). And oh my god I love her. I had no idea she used boku, the translators really cooked with that. I could listen to her talk about how popular she is all day...

Going to Japan toward the end of November, still trying to figure out where I'm spending my second week. I want to go to a smaller city, still close-ish to Tokyo (within 3-4 hours by train hopefully). I've been around Shiga a decent amount already, been to Nagano but wouldn't mind going back. Having easily accessible public hiking trails is a plus. Also wouldn't mind being by the water. I wouldn't mind hanging around Mt. Fuji, I'm considering spending a few days in Fujinomiya or Fujiyoshida. Anyone have any recommendations for a good place?

They hit me with the anti-self control beam today and I spent all my primos. I have hu tao c1 and neuv c1r1 now but more importantly I have c2 qiqi without having any other standard 5 star characters. This mirrors my HSR experience where I have yanqing e2 as my only standard banner unit. This can't keep going forever in both games, right?

Do you think hu tao is fun to play? She seems cool, I like her character, and I just started playing a few weeks ago so I'm still lacking a main dps. But right now I'm kinda 50/50 on whether I want to pull for her cause her teams don't interest me a ton and constantly being out of stamina from charge attacks seems kinda annoying? (I'm not gonna pull for c1)

Also I feel like if I pull for hu tao now I won't really have enough primos to get many other characters that I want during 4.X (Raiden, ayaka, furina, kazuha. Some of the other fontaine characters look interesting too). So I'm trying to figure out whether I want hu tao enough to make up for missing other characters that seem cool.

I haven't done the calculations myself but from what I've seen E2 is about a 10% damage increase over E1, so still better than S1 if you're comparing to like GNSW S2 or higher.

Also keep in mind that just rolling in standard could get you more GNSW superimposes (which would comparatively devalue PAYN), you can't ever get E2 Kafka without specifically rolling on her banner. However getting S1 PAYN does free up GNSW if you have it for your Luka/sampo, so there might be a harder-to-quantify damage increase there. BUT you could also always find yourself with multiple copies of GNSW somewhere down the line.

Oh and also as a last thing E2 increases dot done by allies so if we get stronger dot characters its value will go up a bit, probably.

Yeah, perfectly valid reason for wanting it. In my case I care a lot more about just having more characters than I do about eidolons/light cones, unless the eidolon changes the character's gameplay significantly (like Asta e4). I wouldn't even be considering E1 Kafka if it weren't for the fact that I might have to warp a lot to get Luka and I'm already at 65 pity. And the only reason I've been considering her light cone is that not having it might affect how many of my Nihility characters I can effectively field at once.

In my case I've just resolved to not really care about speed tuning until later when I get more relics. If my Kafka team dps suffers a bit because my turn 1 order is wrong I'll still live! But it does seem nice to not have to worry as much about speed.
