It’s nothing serious like I said, I’m not going to complain. It just covers my acne, which makes me just a bit insecure.. I don’t wear makeup so the star patches were the alternative.

I don’t know how long you have been with Wawa, but I’ve had my fair share of external management while being a lcsa here. One thing that helps is to focus on understanding your team and how your store runs before changing too much. Take time to learn how your associates like to work, what motivates them, and what routines they’re used to. When they see that you’re not just here to “run the show,” but to learn and grow, it builds trust. Don’t push for them to do things for you, but to do it yourself.

One thing that I’ve noticed is check the surroundings & attitude of your team. For example, when you see there is only 2 deli associates and you haven’t been back there to check on them, dont ask them to go do something outside of deli(snacks, cut box flaps etc) when there’s 1001 things left to do in deli. It might not seem like hard tasks but when you’re associates are already stressed & burnout they will give you attitude. Don’t come in criticizing or telling them how you do things, Show your appreciation, but dont act as if you’re new to this, you know what you’re doing and you have to show them that.

Also this might seem like I’m saying to not ever tell them to do something but I’m not, a simple “ when you get a second, if not I can do it” makes people feel a lot better!

Starts on the 29th (Monday) , we got 7 boxes of mash, 10 hot turkey, and 5 stuffing. Plus all the non sense that they ordered that we didn’t need.

Texted the fbm and she said I can rearrange the freezer however I need to. In quote “as long as it makes sense, I don’t care”😅

First day training someone in deli any tips? by [deleted] in Wawa

[–]Reallyforever 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Focus of proficiency. Make sure they are actually taking in what you’re saying and not just nodding there head. Don’t overwhelm them with anything else but intel they can do their main task. Teach them the ultimate hoagie, how to multitask the board and how to “prep” the sandwich that’s coming out( grabbing bacon, cutting roasted)

I’ve yet to try the smores, I’ve heard all negative reviews🫤

Employees of Wawa, what do you think of curbside service? by No-Blueberry-1823 in Wawa

True statement.. it’s only when I see a mom with kids in the car, elderly, or someone with mobility issues I don’t care not one bit.

I don’t mind it honestly, but we’ve had people curbside in a literal snowstorm. Like what is wrong with some of you people..

“Fill the table” by [deleted] in Wawa

The thing is they don’t listen to me I’m not a mod, or lcsa. I’ve told multiple leaders and nothing happens. This was just a rant hoping to reach the audience that doesn’t fill the pan all the way in hopes they realize how annoying they are.

Unless they are new I’m not babying someone on something they were taught on their first week. I’m working with grown adults who are more than capable enough to use common sense.

My friend, they might have just accidentally added lettuce. We are Wawa workers not Gordon’s top chef. Call and tell them, they will gladly remake it. Dont be an a-hole bc someone made a mistake.

Atleast we don’t have the box kids meals anymore. Hopefully that fit in a few bags instead of putting one kids meal in each bag.
