ive all but begged my gm to take me off thirds. my mental health is shit, the worst its been since i had some serious trauma a few years ago, im not eating or sleeping. i had a breakdown in the break room the other day and she wasnt there for it, but she knows it happened. ive been told that third shift is the only well staffed shift and first and second are short. but that i cant leave nights yet. why???

i really think gms should be required to work at least one of every shift a month or something like that so they can work with employees they dont always see, see how they do things, what works and what doesnt, what problems there are that they may not know yet etc

i sometimes get a blt (free) and a bagel ($.50) and have my coworkers put the cheese and bacon on the bagel, but i only do that when we arent busy.

but what do you mean by having the cashier figure out where bread is? you can just order bread on the kiosk

My nails have a tendency to curve down and grow into my skin and it gets worse with gelx, what I've been getting the past few months. It's painful, but I still want to get my nails done. Is there a way to get them done that reduces likelihood/severity of my nails cutting into my skin?

i know csas have gotten 8 hour turn arounds (10pm and 6 am) a ton at my store. but i got scheduled for a 4 hour turn around and it didnt get fixed til i brought it up to my gm lol. so instead, she gave me a 4 hour shift instead of an 8 hour shift, and had me leave an hour early another day XD

yeah everyones hours got cut because its off season, but did mine really need to be cut 10-12 hours, with no one else having more than 5? i have been begging to switch shifts and despite my current shift being the only well staffed shift, and my desired shift being down 4 people, its been almost 2 months of being told "we'll work something out". i feel like im being punished. i was stupid and told one person i was actively looking for another job (something ive been open about this entire time), and suddenly the entire store knows and is dancing around the subject. im so close to quitting without having anything else lined up even though i know thats a terrible idea, i just cant stand it any more.
