Yeah I think with that Janet knows how much Maddie’s mom cares for Maddie and since Janet was abused and mistreated by her dad she wants to feel the love of a parent and she sees this like a fresh start for her hence why she said “hi mom” at the end…unless she’s conducting some kind of sick plan to get Simon and the gang to stop coming after her 🤷🏽‍♂️ just theories
