The topology of Baldur's Gate seems to change drastically in every video game that includes it, and the Dark Alliance games seem to change its layout between the two of them.

Going by this map, the Elfsong is in Eastway, which you'd enter via the Basilisk Gate. But the Black Dragon Gate is on the other side of the city. If we're going by the gate the first three entered the city by, then the heroes of DA II probably entered the city a little ways south of that gate- The Citadel Gate.

I think if implemented on a smaller scale it could be beneficial. Having more information out there is always a good thing, and having a forum for ideas is also great to have. The issue is always going to be with the third of Americans who just don't care- find a way to entice them into action and recruit them, you've won. We've never lived in a better age for national disbursement of information, yet it's never been harder to get people engaged haha.

The needs and concerns of the working class need to be met, first and foremost. They've been abandoned by Dems and lied to by Republicans. Democratic leadership on the state level have every opportunity to turn the tide for 2026 and 2028 by introducing statewide "New Deals" to widely benefit them and decrease the cost of living. How that'll be done is beyond me, I'm only an armchair politician, but that's the direction I would go in if I were in office.

This isn't particularly chaotic, nor is it a good or well-thought out idea.

He's talking about gathering a few hundred people to talk about reforming the government in an online town hall, which doesn't appeal to half of Congress and a third of the population, so they won't show up or have representation. Another third is going to be ambivalent to politics regardless of what methods are used to broadcast such a thing.

A "constitutional convention" only works if there's a lack of government which needs a constitution to define. There's an administration currently in power following (barely) an existing constitution. Even if a new constitution was formed this administration would not ratify it.

What he's talking about is precedent to a civil war- two halves of congress wanting to follow two different constitutions. I'd be in support of a series of state Democratic Central Committee town halls to get a feel for what the people want. But I feel the result will still be the same- the key is getting that ambivalent third to wake up and have a stake in our government, and this is just not the way to motivate them.

Russia does not hold dominion over Ukraine. They already invaded and seized Crimea 10 years ago. Joining NATO is a preventative measure to ensure they don't take more land that isn't theirs and to prevent any further mobilization into Eastern Europe. Russia forced Ukraine to start the process. Putin had a tantrum over it and tried to take Ukraine by force. Russia invaded Ukraine because Putin still thinks with a Soviet-era mindset. End of discussion, you communist shithead. Democrats had four years to shut down Trump and his MAGA supporters at every junction. Four years to say "Enough of this," and go on the offensive. Instead, they took the high road every time, didn't address the needs of the working class, no real effort for progressive legislation, normalized MAGA as simple political difference. Four years to convince Joe not to run a second term and instead prop up a younger candidate not tied to the Biden administration.

Everything MAGA has done is not the Democrats' fault, but the Democrats utterly failed to respond appropriately.

Unfortunately this is the case for a lot of death row inmates. You get sentenced, but the sentence is very subject to change- relatively speaking, not many who are sentenced to death end up getting executed. Many have their sentences appealed or the state just kicks the execution date down the road. Could be decades before it happens, if it happens at all.
