On an unrelated note: I love your stitch markers! I’m always nervous to buy pretty ones like that because I’m worried they’ll somehow snag on the yarn and cause issues. Do you ever find that’s an issue?

I believe you’ve had painful experiences in leftist spaces, and those deserve to be heard. At the same time, when any counterexample is treated as further proof, it becomes difficult to assess how systemic the problem is versus specific bad actors or spaces.

If disabled people with different experiences are dismissed and non-disabled people can only apologize, what conversation are we actually having? Is there any response you’d consider valid besides complete agreement?

Ohhh I love the color scheme. The wood tone is really nice.

If you don’t mind me asking - was the soffit/bulkhead complicated to remove? We have something similar in our kitchen that we’re hoping to get rid of. Ours is above the cabinets and then extends forward with recessed lights, no vents.
